Kuo Tzu-chien (The Epoch Times)
Kuo Tzu-chien, actor and host, saw Shen Yun in Taipei on March 26.

Wang Chen-wei (The Epoch Times)
Wang Chen-wei, partner of an American capital ventures company, saw Shen Yun in Taipei on March 29.
“Shen Yun is like the music and dancing from heaven,” said Mr. Wang. “It shows the goodness, the beauty [of Chinese culture], and that’s in contrast to the current situation in mainland China.
“The performance brought the beauty of China to a wider audience around the world. Whether it is about Chinese culture and art, or about the humanities, this is something divine.
“I think it’s a breath of fresh air in this chaotic world, to give everyone a chance to access what Christianity calls the Gospel,” said Wang Chen-wei. “It inspires goodness, and when more people are inspired, the world will be a better place.”
Associate professor Liu Yu-hsi saw Shen Yun in Taipei on March 29.
“Shen Yun has sophisticated aesthetics, but it is pure in spirit,” said Ms. Liu. “It’s trying to convey the pure part of Chinese culture. While watching the show, I can appreciate the richness of Chinese culture, which has accompanied our growth, in a peaceful manner. I think this is very valuable, as I felt like the interference of the Communist Party has been temporarily removed.
“Shen Yun is also trying to call forth the reverence for God and the praise of spiritual power. The Communist Party does not want the people to have spiritual pursuits because it wants them to submit to its authoritative rule.
“I know that the persecution of faith is still going on, so of course the Chinese Communist Party doesn’t want the public to know such a truth. If one day performances like this can be seen all over China, it will mean that we have succeeded in eliminating the interference of the Communist Party, and it will certainly be a better world,” said Ms. Liu.
Pai Pei-chi, executive director of the Asia Federation of Chinese Traders Association, saw Shen Yun in Keelung on March 20.
“Every time they perform, the performers seem to be flying. It feels like they are flying.” Ms. Pai said. “That power must be given by the divine, because ordinary people like us cannot do it,” she said.
Cheng Fen, chief creative officer of a digital creative communications company, saw Shen Yun in Taipei on March 26.
“The divine is originally very illusory and noble, but Shen Yun, through art, allows divinity to naturally enter our hearts, filling our hearts with kind thoughts. It makes me feel as if I am a little closer to the divine,” Ms. Cheng said.
Tsang Hai-hsiao (The Epoch Times)
Author Tsang Hai-hsiao saw Shen Yun in Keelung on March 21. What inspired him most was the idea of rebirth presented in the show.
“A few stories talk about rebirth... When a person encounters difficulties, and his life is in trouble, or a good person suffers because of the appearance of a bad person, and how to climb out of a low point in life, accept the test, and overcome the difficulties. That is the concept of rebirth. Including the emotional transitions in the process, and how to transform and change oneself from pain, are also a kind of rebirth,” he said.
Chiang Hsiao-Ling (The Epoch Times)
Chiang Hsiao-Ling, former newspaper editor-in-chief, saw Shen Yun in Keelung on March 21.
“Many of Shen Yun’s programs make you want to shed tears,” she said. “There is the beauty of the divine in the performance, and you feel as if you are closer to God, to the heavens.
“I think it shows a very good state of unity between Heaven and humankind, and it is actually a great inspiration to the world because it can bring to people a greater sense of truthfulness, kindness, and beauty,” said Ms. Chiang.
Chang Chuan, chief legal counsel of a company, saw Shen Yun in Keelung on March 20.
“I felt a great inspiration of the soul’s power. It was very shocking,” said Mr. Chang. “I also found the choreography really, really breathtaking. Truly amazing, very touching.
“I saw the dancers’ smiles, and their faces, which are genuinely truthful, benevolent, and forbearing. It must be their belief in God’s revelation that enables them to have such power. It’s not something that can be done easily, nor can it be trained in a couple of days. It must be done through a lot of hard work and even with God’s help.
“What they do is to promote a concept of benevolence, truthfulness, and forbearance, so that people can elevate the spirit of mankind and make our world a better place, so I would like to express my deepest respect to them and really thank them, and I hope that they will continue to work hard and we will continue to support them,” said Mr. Chang.
