(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 6 cities or counties in 5 provinces, where at least 6 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

1. [Meizhou City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Xie Xiuling Sentenced to Three Years in Prison
2. [Kaifeng City, Henan Province] Ms. Li Qiaoling Sentenced to Four and a Half Years in Prison
3. [Mudanjiang City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Sun Guixiang Detained
4. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Practitioner Zheng Shuli Arrested and Detained
5. [Beijing] Ms. Xu Na Transferred Back to the Beijing Women’s Prison, 8-Year Extended by Another 1.5 Years
6. [Liaoyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Li Jing Persecuted

1. [Meizhou City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Xie Xiuling Sentenced to Three Years in Prison

Ms. Xie Xiuling from Jiaoling County was arrested by local police on the morning of April 18, 2024. Her home was ransacked and a photo of Falun Gong’s founder was confiscated. It was recently learned that she had been sentenced to three years in prison.

2. [Kaifeng City, Henan Province] Ms. Li Qiaoling Sentenced to Four and a Half Years in Prison

Ms. Li Qiaoling, over 70, has been sentenced to four and a half years in prison. She is currently serving time in the Xinxiang City Women’s Prison.

3. [Mudanjiang City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Sun Guixiang Detained

Ms. Sun Guixiang from Mudanjiang City was arrested in Dongning City on the afternoon of March 27, 2025. She is now held at the Mudanjiang City Detention Center.

4. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Practitioner Zheng Shuli Arrested and Detained

Zheng Shuli, gender unknown, from Nanshu Town, Laixi City, was arrested by police officers in Laixi City on March 20, 2025 and taken to a detention center.

5. [Beijing] Ms. Xu Na Transferred Back to the Beijing Women’s Prison, 8-Year Extended by Another 1.5 Years

Ms. Xu Na was sentenced to eight years in 2022. She went missing two months after she was admitted to the Beijing Women’s Prison in September 2023. Minghui.org recently learned that she had been held at the Dongcheng District Detention Center after September 2023 and that she was taken back to the Beijing Women’s Prison in March 2025. The authorities also added 1.5 years to her prison term because she refused to plead guilty.

6. [Liaoyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Li Jing Persecuted

Ms. Li Jing hasn’t been allowed to contact her family after she was arrested in September 2023. Her family knew she was held at the Liaoyang City Detention Center after her arrest, but they weren’t allowed to visit her. They worried whether she would be sentenced again for her faith.

Prior to her latest arrest, Ms. Li served a nine-year prison term, where she was constantly beaten, shocked with electric batons and forced to work for long hours (mainly making clothes) without pay.
