The Police Who Came to Harass Us Were Asking for Help

(Minghui.org) Falun Dafa practitioners would usually regard “visits” made to them on sensitive dates by neighborhood committee personnel, police officers, social workers, or 610 Office agents as harassment. This is evident in the practitioners’ conversations and their experience sharing articles on the Minghui.org website. I used to feel the same about those “visits.”

After studying Master’s articles “How Humankind Came To Be” and “Why Save Sentient Beings,” I came to believe that these government personnel are our relatives, and they come to visit us, not to harass us. Actually, they are coming to ask us for help.

A few days before May 13 last year, World Falun Dafa Day, two police officers knocked on my door. I asked who was there and what I could do for them. They politely said they were passing by and wanted to take the opportunity to see me. I quickly put away any potentially sensitive items and invited them in.

Just as I opened the door, one of them took pictures of me with a camera. But he quickly stopped when they saw me staring at them sternly. One of them then chatted with me, while the other looked around and took pictures of the truth-clarification materials I had prepared for them. The packet included “How Humankind Came To Be” and “Why Save Sentient Beings,” as well as truth-clarification materials that showed that practicing Falun Dafa in China is legal. I said to them, “No need to take photos, just take the materials home and read them at your leisure,” handing them the materials as I spoke. They put them in their pockets.

They asked me if I needed them to explain anything. Seeing that they were ready to leave, I stopped them at the door and said, “You care about me so much. Such kind young people are hard to find in today’s society. I listened carefully to what you said. I also want to say a few words, so please listen carefully to me. At present, various disasters and plagues are coming with great force. Do you know they are here to eliminate bad people? Do you know who the specific target is?” They shook their heads. “Let me tell you, they are targeting the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), including the Youth League and Young Pioneers. You two are CCP members, right?”

The tall officer pointed at the other and said, “He is. I only joined the Youth League and Young Pioneers.”

I continued, “Then you should make up your minds to invalidate the oaths you took when you raised your fist to join those organizations, and stay away from the evil CCP to be safe.” They nodded in agreement. With Master’s blessing and protection, two more officers were saved! They and others have not come to “visit” me since then.

After studying Master’s articles “A Wake-Up Call” and “The Ordeals Our Spiritual Discipline Faces,” I have come to understand more clearly that Master wants us to save all sentient beings. We must not have any human thoughts when helping Master to save people, especially toward those who have persecuted us. We must not harbor the slightest resentment toward them.

Former Soldier Quits the CCP

Not long ago, I saw an elderly man with a cane resting at the square when I was out clarifying the truth. I approached him and learned that he was 96 years old, and had participated in the Korean War. I asked him, “Are you an old revolutionary or CCP member?”

He said excitedly, “I have been a CCP member for more than 70 years. I have met people on the street several times who asked me to quit the CCP. I don’t understand why they want me to quit. These people are too rebellious …”

I responded, “Don’t get upset, Sir. In fact, they are all doing this for your own good. Maybe they were just too busy to make it clear to you. Now you and I both have some time. Let’s chat.”

I asked him, “You are an intelligent, kind, and respectable man. Do you believe that good will be rewarded and evil will meet with retribution?” He nodded, so I continued, “You were a soldier on the battlefield. You must know the cruelty of war. You are an old CCP member, but do you know how many people have been killed in the CCP’s various political movements over the decades? It is more than 80 million, which is more than the total number of deaths in the two world wars.

“The crimes of the CCP have now reached the point where gods will punish it if humans don’t. Currently, various disasters and plagues are coming with great force. They all intend to eliminate bad people.” I asked him, “Do you know who the target is?” He shook his head. At this time, another elderly man came and sat down next to him. I said, “Let me tell you, these disasters and plagues are targeting the CCP. You two are CCP members, right?” They nodded and said yes. “Then make a vow in your heart to quit the CCP.” The former soldier told me his name to quit. The other man said, “Please use my real name to quit the cult [of the CCP] as well.” They both happily accepted the truth-clarifying materials I gave them and said they would take them home to read them carefully.

During the conversation, a few more elderly people sat around and listened. I asked them if they knew that quitting the CCP could ensure their safety. Some said they knew, and some said they had already quit.

In the final stage of Fa-rectification, no matter how evil the environment is, or how difficult the path is, as long as there are still those who do not understand the truth, we must continue to clarify the truth and save people.
