(Minghui.org) In The Book of Adam, Lucifer refused to follow God’s order to bow down to Adam (a man, made in the image of God) because of his pride. He then lead a group of angels to rebel against God and, in the end, he was banished to Hell and became Satan.

The story of the fallen angels prompted me to think that, in the infinite levels of this cosmos, all beings know the truth of, but not above, their levels. The Great Way is being taught at the end times, and Master has revealed to all sentient beings even higher Fa principles. Naturally, not all beings can enlighten to them.

Master says,

“When divine beings made man, they did so at the Creator’s behest, ...”

“The purpose that the Creator had in directing divine beings to make man, was to make use of man in the final times when He would offer all lives of the greater universe—including heavenly beings—salvation.” (“How Humankind Came To Be”)

My understanding is that the Creator had man created because he is needed for Fa rectification at the end times. As to why things are done this way is even beyond the comprehension of the divine beings. So they could not have imagined how precious man is.

Falun Dafa practitioners may not know everything Master has taught us because we cultivate in delusion. With the influence of modern science, atheist theories, and twisted ideologies, many practitioners inevitably still carry degenerate notions. These notions are what need to be eliminated on our path to divinity and, hence, create tests to our faith.

If we use our knowledge and notions to judge the tests we encounter and the principles Master taught, then we might fall into a predicament like the fallen angels did. Our human pride and prejudice will lead us to think that we can judge things for ourselves, without realizing that such intellect is based on modern science, which is founded on atheism and cannot be used to measure the Fa.

I have seen people, some who even survived severe persecution in China, give up their faith for something Master said that they could not understand or accept. Their inability to cultivate based on the Fa and to forsake human notions played a key role in their fate.

Due to the amount of karma we have, along with the old forces’ arrangements, our ability to enlighten to what Master says is limited, especially in this ordinary realm of not knowing. The only tool we have to deal with this situation is to, with a humble heart, believe in Master and the Fa unconditionally. This will allow us to go to higher levels and achieve good results. On the contrary, pride, jealousy and self-righteousness will lead us astray, just like the story of the fallen angels.
