Pedestrians stopped to learn about Falun Dafa and how the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) persecutes practitioners.

Practitioners displayed banners about the April 25 appeal and demonstrated the Falun Dafa exercises. They also held a rally to inform passersby about the significance of this date 26 years ago.

Gatot Machali, chairman of the Indonesia Falun Dafa Association, said at the rally, “The peaceful appeal on April 25, 1999, by more than ten thousand Falun Dafa practitioners in Beijing, demonstrated practitioners’ high moral standards. It was the most peaceful appeal in Chinese history.

“Facing the inhumane persecution by the Chinese communist regime, and amid the widespread slander from state-controlled media, practitioners responded with rational and peaceful resistance to these atrocities and injustices,” he said.

“We, Falun Dafa practitioners, are truthful, benevolent, and tolerant, but that does not mean we can tolerate crimes against humanity or genocide.”

Reporter: Practitioners’ Peaceful Resistance Is Truly Admirable

Langit, a local reporter, praised the practitioners’ peaceful behavior.

Langit, a reporter from Tangerang, said, “The rally held by these practitioners is admirable and peaceful. They have been calling for justice for years without resorting to violence, which is extremely rare.”

He expressed his confusion over why the CCP still sees the practitioners’ peaceful demonstration 26 years ago as a threat. “It’s very clear there is nothing to fear from Falun Dafa practitioners. They are simply individuals practicing for the health of their minds and bodies.”
