Canada: Elected Officials in All Three Government Levels Send Congratulatory Letters for the 26th World Falun Dafa Day

(Minghui.org) May 13, 2025 is the 33^rd anniversary of the public introduction of Falun Dafa and the 26^th World Falun Dafa day. Elected officials from all three levels of government in Canada sent letters celebrating the occasion and praising the benefits that Falun Dafa brings to their communities through the universal principles Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. Below are the congratulatory letters from 15 elected officials in Ontario received to date.

Whereas: Falun Dafa, also known as Falun Gong, is a peaceful self-improvement practice rooted in ancient Chinese culture and centers around the universal principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance and consists of five gentle exercises, including meditation; and

Whereas: Falun Dafa, was first introduced by Master Li Hongzhi in 1992 and has demonstrated a steadfast commitment to improve health in mind, body and spirit, and to enhance the well-being of people from all walks of society, who follow the tenets; and

Whereas: Transcending culture and racial boundaries, Falun Dafa has touched the lives of more than 100 million people in over 110 countries, more men and women in Canada are learning the practice and purifying their hearts, energizing their bodies, and striving to create more peaceful communities; and

Whereas: under grave adversity, the great compassion and forbearance demonstrated by Falun Dafa practitioners have touched the hearts of kind-hearted people all over the world; and

Whereas: Falun Dafa practitioners in the communities across Canada celebrate the Falun Dafa day on May 13^th and this year marks its monumental 33^rd Anniversary.

I, Therefore, proclaim that the month of May to be observed as “Falun Dafa Month” in the city of North Bay.

Whereas, Falun Dafa has benefited both physically and spiritually tens of millions of people from diverse cultural backgrounds in over 100 countries, including Canada, since its public introduction in China in May 1992; and

Whereas, Falun Dafa transcends cultural and racial boundaries and contributes to a more peaceful, tolerant, and compassionate society, and
