(Minghui.org) Practitioners held activities at Place de la République in Rennes, France on Saturday, May 10, 2025 to celebrate the 33^rd anniversary of Falun Dafa’s introduction. They also thanked their founder, Master Li Hongzhi, and wished him happy birthday. They told people about Falun Dafa and how the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) persecutes it.

Rennes is the capital of the Brittany region of France. An historic city renowned for its arts and history, it features medieval half-timbered houses and magnificent churches. Rennes is currently one of the largest automobile manufacturing bases in France and an important university city.

Practitioners in Western France wish Falun Dafa’s founder, Master Li Hongzhi, a happy birthday and express their vast gratitude to him.

Practitioners held an event at Place de la République in Rennes, France on May 10, 2025 to celebrate World Falun Dafa Day.

People learn about Falun Dafa and the persecution in China.

Ms. Lucile was shocked when she heard about the persecution that Falun Dafa is facing in China, including practitioners having their organs harvested while they are still alive. She said this is inhuman and signed the petition to call for an end to the persecution. She said that no one should be indifferent when they hear of such frightening human rights violations.

She later returned to the Falun Dafa booth, watched practitioners do the exercises and read truth clarifying materials. She said that the energy field while practitioners did the exercises made her feel very comfortable.

A young man from Guinea who teaches at Rennes University talked with practitioners. After he was told what Falun Dafa is and about the persecution in China, he jotted down the practitioner’s contact information because he wished to learn the exercises. He said that he had meditated alone at home before, but he hoped for systematic guidance. He read a segment of Zhuan Falun and said, “This book can teach us to explore ourselves, which is very good.”

A Falun Dafa practitioner told a woman from Colombia about the CCP’s live organ harvesting and she was very touched. She said that in Colombia, drug addicts kidnap people and sell their organs. However, things are worse in China. The CCP government is doing all these things. She signed the petition.

A young man passed by the booth and told practitioners, “I felt positive energy. Your music uplifts me.”

Another lady showed interest in the Falun Dafa exercises and asked where she could learn them. She said she understood that in order to be healthy, people must cultivate their minds and bodies.

Two young ladies who defend human rights said they knew that the CCP persecutes the Uyghurs in China, but they hadn’t heard about the persecution of Falun Dafa. When they learned that the CCP is carrying out genocidal crimes against on Falun Dafa practitioners, they were very alarmed and said that they would find out more.

The weather was bright and sunny, and one hundred and twenty people signed the petition. Many people thanked Falun Dafa for coming to Rennes to tell them about Falun Dafa and the persecution. Some said that they hope practitioners will return often.
