Indonesia: Practitioners Reflect on Their Cultivation During Falun Dafa Conference

(Minghui.org) The 2025 Indonesia Falun Dafa Cultivation Experience Sharing Conference was held in Denpasar, Bali on May 12, 2025. Around 600 practitioners from various regions and cities in Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore attended.

Seventeen practitioners spoke of the physical and mental improvements they gained through the practice. They described how they looked within when there were conflicts, and how they eliminated their human attachments by assimilating to the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. They also talked about their experiences while telling people about the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) persecution of Falun Dafa in China.

Improving Through Reading Minghui Articles

Liliana works for NTD Television. She has two young children and sometimes feels she’s under a lot of pressure. She felt annoyed when she was asked to make more videos when she was already working on something. She thought, “Why me? Can’t other practitioners help?” She always tried to quickly finish her task, but when she was given a new assignment while she was still working on another, she often got upset.

Her mindset changed after she began reading practitioners’ articles on the Minghui website. In the past, when she was on her lunch break, she took out her mobile phone and browsed social media apps. After she switched to reading articles on Minghui, the negative substances in her mind were cleansed. She thought of how difficult the environment is for practitioners in China, yet they managed to produce materials and distribute them. Their strong righteous thoughts made her see the huge gap between herself and diligent practitioners

Her mind became clear. It may seem that she is doing things for others, but in fact it is for herself. Every practitioner has the same starting point, trying their best to clarify the truth through various projects, and she is just one particle among many. Now, she is able to calmly accept new assignments. She can sense the power of Dafa supporting every task she works on.

Master Makes the Best Arrangements When Practitioners Cooperate

When the Gan Jing World (“Clean World”) video platform was first launched, Budiati, who is a school teacher, introduced it to students, teachers and officials in educational bureaus in her city and surrounding counties. Thanks to the great cooperation among practitioners, the head of the local education bureau wrote a letter to several hundred teachers to introduce Gan Jing world.

At last year’s National Teachers' Day celebration, they had the opportunity to introduce Gan Jing World to hundreds of primary, secondary students and teachers at a stadium. Hundreds of pupils shouted “Kindness is Cool! Welcome Gan Jing World!” and their voices echoed throughout the stadium.

During the awards presentation at the end of the celebration, unlike other participants who were enjoying the entertainment and competing for prizes, Budiati and another fellow practitioner sat quietly watching . Suddenly a prize thrown by the organizing committee fell into her lap. A member of the committee also brought another prize to the other practitioner and said, “We thank you for inviting our students to enter the clean world!”

Budiati understood that this was a sign of encouragement from Master. She sensed that people are eagerly waiting for everything that practitioners do to help save them.

Not Missing a Predestined Person While Promoting Shen Yun

Rudy and other practitioners told a high ranking government official in their city about Shen Yun. They decided to accompany him to watch a performance in Taiwan. After overcoming various obstacles, the small group was finally able to depart. Rudy and the other practitioners increased the number of times they sent righteous thoughts.

While waiting for their connecting flight in Singapore, they met a woman who was also going to Taiwan. When Rudy told her about Shen Yun, the woman, who is a jeweler, was keen to see the performance. The woman and the government official were invited to a Shen Yun presentation in Taiwan. They said that the show was amazing, and they were glad to be able to see this year’s performance.

Young Practitioner Improves in Cultivation While Working on Media Project

Yuli joined a media team at the end of 2024 and was assigned to make videos. She felt that she lacked professional editing skills, so she wasn’t sure if she could do the job well. She reminded herself that she’s a Falun Dafa practitioner, so she should cherish this opportunity to assist Master in Fa-rectification.

A team member later shared an article from Minghui about a practitioner who succeeded in making 3D animations, even though he didn’t know how, thanks to Master’s guidance. Yuli was inspired and thought that nothing is impossible if we truly believe in Master and the Fa. With the support and the team’s encouragement, she gradually learned how to edit videos better and she improved.

However, her cultivation path was not smooth sailing. At times, her attachment to comfort gained the upper hand. One day instead of making a video, she played games on her mobile phone until the battery ran out. The next day, her phone would not turn on no matter what she tried. When it was time to do the exercises, she had the thought to look inward. She realized that she had slacked off in her cultivation recently and did not fulfill her mission as a practitioner.

She also realized that her mobile phone was just a tool that she used to validate the Fa and she should not have any attachments. She acknowledged her problem and silently apologized to Master. She was able to turn on her mobile phone and quickly completed the task of making a new video.
