Falun Dafa practitioners celebrated the 26^th annual World Falun Dafa Day with a colorful, dazzling performance, accompanied by the sound of gongs and drums that resounded throughout the square. The performance emitted pure positive energy, bringing happiness and hope to local residents. People complimented the performances, saying things like, “The Falun Dafa event today is so wonderful,” “That drum playing was truly inspiring!” and, “Thank you, Falun Dafa, for bringing us these traditional performances!”

Falun Dafa practitioners dressed in golden yellow costumes demonstrated the exercises. The dragon dance team’s lively performance was a favorite for many of the younger audience members. Many people took photos of practitioners in their dazzling costumes to remember the colorful moment.

Federal Senator: Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance Are Crucial for the Improvement of Humankind

One Nation Party’s representative, Senator Malcolm Roberts sent a congratulatory message for World Falun Dafa Day. In his message he said, “Falun Dafa’s principles of truth, compassion, and forbearance are essential to peace, humanity and to freedom.”

Queensland’s Assistant Minister, State Member of Parliament Bree James sent a congratulatory message. In her message, she wrote, “I am pleased to extend my support to all those gathered at the Trinity Beach Community Hall for the 2025 World Falun Dafa Day celebrations.

“World Falun Dafa Day is an opportunity to recognise and celebrate a practice that has positively impacted millions of people around the globe.

“In Queensland and across the world, the contributions of Falun Dafa practitioners to their communities are worthy of recognition. Their dedication to peaceful living, community harmony, and personal growth enriches the social and cultural fabric of our society.

“On this special occasion, I extend my best wishes to all participants in the Cairns celebration. May this day be a meaningful and joyful reflection of the values that Falun Dafa upholds and a reminder of the importance of freedom of belief and cultural diversity in our community.”

Retired Network Engineer: Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance Should Be Promoted

Practitioners demonstrated Falun Dafa’s five sets of exercises at a Falun Dafa booth. Many people stopped by to read information about Dafa and the ongoing persecution in China.

Tan Nguyen is a retired network engineer who used to work for Telstra, one of Australia’s telecommunication companies. Although he is already 76 years old, he is still vigorous and enthusiastic. He lingered at the square for a very long time. Mr. Nguyen said, “The Falun Dafa event today is so wonderful, especially the dragon dance. I enjoyed that very much. That big drum was struck so loudly and vigorously, truly inspiring! In Vietnam, we also have dragon dance performances. Dragons represent hope and success. Thank you, Falun Dafa, for bringing us these traditional performances!”

Mr. Nguyen was very complimentary of Falun Dafa’s principles of Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance. He said, “Vietnam’s traditional culture is closely related to China’s traditional culture. One example will be that we also stress treating others with kindness. Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance should be promoted and we need to return to our traditional cultures!”

Construction Contractor: Falun Dafa Practitioners Are Amazing

Richard helps celebrate World Falun Dafa Day.

Richard, a construction contractor from Redcliffe in North Brisbane, knew quite a lot about the persecution of Falun Dafa and signed the petition to end the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) forced organ harvesting of prisoners of conscience. He congratulated practitioners on World Falun Dafa Day. Richard said, “Falun Dafa practitioners are really awesome. You did not collapse, despite facing the CCP’s cruel persecution for the past 26 years! You all are very strong and you must persist!”

He added that the Chinese Communist Party is a notorious human rights abuser. After the June 4^th Tiananmen Square Massacre, he once went deep into finding the truth about the June 4^th incident. Richard said that the persecution of Falun Dafa is a continuation of the CCP’s terrible human rights record. He said he wants to awaken more people through spreading the truth via social media so that they can stand on the righteous side of history.

Civil Engineer: Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance Are of Great Value

Rowen is a civil engineer from Gladstone in North Brisbane. He watched part of the performances and enjoyed them very much. He said, “Thank you for your wonderful performances! Although there are occasional showers today, we can still feel the harmony and passion in all of you!”

He added that his wife really enjoyed the program. He said, “The costumes are very pretty and the music is very beautiful too. The principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance are of great value to today’s society.”

When he learned about the persecution that Falun Dafa practitioners are suffering in China, Rowen said, “Falun Dafa is so wonderful, yet it is being persecuted by the CCP. In this 21st century, the CCP is still persecuting Falun Dafa in this manner; this is definitely unacceptable!”

Rowen signed the petition to call for an end to the persecution. He also wished Falun Dafa practitioners good luck.

Business Owner: I Want to Learn Falun Dafa

Saffron and Rogers manage a private business in Tasmania. They had come to Queensland for a vacation and happened to chance upon the Falun Dafa practitioners’ World Falun Dafa Day celebration. They were happy to watch the performances.

Saffron said, “The performances are really splendid, especially the guzheng performance, which is not a Western instrument. The music allows people to find tranquility and harmony in their soul amid this noisy world. Thank you, Falun Dafa, for your multicultural contributions.”

Saffron also showed great interest in the Falun Dafa exercises. She said that she could feel the strong energy that Falun Dafa’s tranquility contains. She asked about Falun Dafa practice sites in Tasmania and said that she hopes to learn the practice when she gets home.
