(Minghui.org) Falun Dafa practitioners from Rovaniemi in Finnish Lapland gathered at the city center on May 10, 2025, to raise awareness about the ongoing persecution in China. During the event, the practitioners exposed the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) brutality against Falun Dafa, which has persisted for 26 years. They highlighted the state-sanctioned harvesting of organs from living Falun Dafa practitioners imprisoned for their belief.

The pleasant weekend weather resulted in a continuous flow of passersby. Many local residents signed a petition calling for an end to the persecution after they understood the truth.

There were banners on display focusing on the CCP’s state-sanctioned organ harvesting. Many residents stopped by to learn more and some said that they had already heard about this persecution. However, some were shocked to learn that the persecution continues, as well as the forced organ harvesting.

A couple who lives in the north but who often go to the Finnish capital Helsinki, said that they have been hearing about the CCP’s evil acts all these years, but they still find it hard to believe that criminal acts like live organ harvesting are still happening. As the couple left, they asked their friends to come and show their support. One of their friends immediately signed the petition.

During the event, many families also stopped by to learn about Falun Dafa. After checking out the banners and display boards, a young man said, “I do not dare to believe that such a thing is still happening now. This is too scary. How can the CCP do that?”

The event lasted for many hours and people kept coming to sign the petition. The atmosphere was calm and harmonious throughout the event. The Falun Dafa practitioners’ perseverance and compassion touched the hearts of many people and gained their admiration.
