(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 4 cities or counties in 3 provinces, where at least 8 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

1. [Shulan City, Jilin Province] Ms. Guo Qingfen Admitted to Prison and Ms. Han Yuzhen Arrested
2. [Leshan City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Xu Zhiying Sentenced to One Year
3. [Qianguo County, Jilin Province] Four Practitioners Harassed
4. [Huixian City, Henan Province] Ms. Fang Yuqin Detained

1. [Shulan City, Jilin Province] Ms. Guo Qingfen Admitted to Prison and Ms. Han Yuzhen Arrested

Ms. Guo Qingfen was sentenced to three years in prison and fined 5,000 yuan by the Shulan City Court on April 2, 2025. She was forced to have physical exam on April 10, 2025 and then admitted to the Jilin Province Women’s Prison.

Ms. Han Yuzhen was arrested on April 14, 2025. She is currently detained in the Jilin City Detention Center.

2. [Leshan City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Xu Zhiying Sentenced to One Year

Ms. Xu Zhiying was sentenced to one year in prison by the Shizhong District Court on November 28, 2024. She appealed, but the original verdict was upheld by the Leshan City Intermediate Court on February 21, 2025. She was taken to the Leshan City Supervision Detention Center on May 9, 2025.

3. [Qianguo County, Jilin Province] Four Practitioners Harassed

Four practitioners from Hongguang Farm were harassed and photographed by officers from the Baiyilaga Township Police Station and Qianguo County Police Department on May 6, 2025. They are Mr. Tang Xifu, Ms. Qiu Yuanwen, Ms. Qu Jinlan, and Ms. Liu Fuyan.

4. [Huixian City, Henan Province] Ms. Fang Yuqin Detained

Ms. Fang Yuqin was recorded by the street surveillance cameras while distributing information materials about Falun Gong on April 5, 2025. She was arrested on April 24, 2025 by officers of the Huixian City Domestic Security Division and given 10 days of administrative detention.
