(Minghui.org) I’ve experienced a lot during the storms and rains of the past 20 years. Although I have stumbled, I have remained steadfast on my journey of cultivation. I thank Master for his protection along the way, and thank practitioners for encouraging and helping each other. I would like to share a few experiences in my journey of cultivation.
I was spotted while posting informational stickers about Falun Dafa at a residential complex about ten years ago, and a group of police officers soon came looking for me. I hid in a room when the officers arrived. I begged Master to strengthen my righteous thoughts and block them from seeing me.
My celestial eye couldn’t see anything, and my body hadn’t felt much during my cultivation, and I had felt nothing while sending forth righteous thoughts. Nevertheless, I felt I was embraced with a strong energy when I sent forth righteous thoughts that day, and my righteous thoughts were strong. I knew that Master was beside me, protecting me, and helping resolve this tribulation. It turned out that they didn’t see me and I got home safely.
One of my family members living with us was illegally arrested seven years ago. Seven or eight police officers came to search my home. I checked their search warrant, their police IDs, and wrote down their names. I told them that they could only see that family member’s room. The officers agreed. I let them wait for a little while, then let them go into the room and look around for a while. They didn’t find anything. They were recording video of the room and found nothing. Before they left, they said they wanted to check another room. I firmly opposed. I said that they were only allowed to see that room, and absolutely not any other rooms. They found nothing in the end, and left empty-handed. Another practitioner and I kept sending forth righteous thoughts during the process. I know that Master was protecting me, otherwise the consequences would have been dire.
Police officers once came by and asked to look around my home, but I refused. A family member later opened the door and let them look. I followed them, sending forth righteous thoughts while explaining the facts about Falun Dafa to them. One room in my home is dedicated to Master’s pictures. When I chatted with an officer about the current laws and regulations, he said, “Wow, you know so much!” When they saw Master’s portrait and pictures of Falun emblems on the wall, an officer said, “Oh, this is where you cultivate your character.” I said yes. They then left.
Police once arrested a family member and then came to my home to search through her personal belongings. Seeing her ID card and bank cards, an officer said that he would take these items away. I told the officer seriously, “You may take them away. But you need to give me a list of the items taken.” Of course the officer wouldn’t give me such list. He said, “Forget it then!” I was thinking that since we are Dafa practitioners who strive to be good people, we should not be persecuted by the police at will, and must speak out when something should be said. The officer left.
The heads of the County Political and Legal Affairs Committee and the 610 Office came to my workplace in 2021 to pressure the head of my workplace to make me renounce my faith. I clarified the truth to these people. The head of my workplace had a conversation with me multiple times, and each time I explained the facts about Falun Dafa from a rational point of view and refused to make any statement renouncing Falun Dafa. The head expressed his concern for me, saying, “We also know that Dafa is good, but what if you lose your job?” I said that I merely follow Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance to be a good person, that I would never allow myself to be fired from my job, and that I will sue whoever fired me. After that those people never came to me workplace again, and the matter ended.
