My Child Is Blessed by Falun Dafa

(Minghui.org) During the past 26 years when Falun Dafa has been suppressed in China, some Chinese Communist Party (CCP) officials often threaten practitioners, “If you continue practicing, your children’s future will be negatively affected.” In fact, my experience has been the opposite. I follow the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, and my child is blessed.

Master Li, founder of Falun Dafa, wrote,

“When people show the appropriate respect and reverence toward Dafa as it manifests here in this world, they, their race, or their nation will enjoy blessings or honor.” (“On Dafa”, Zhuan Falun)

I was fortunate to start practicing Falun Dafa in 1998 and know about Falun Dafa’s principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. I’ve witnessed countless miracles. When I was imprisoned by the CCP for my belief, I recited Falun Dafa’s teachings and improved my xinxing. The capacity of my heart increased and my faith in Dafa was strengthened. With Master Li’s help, I returned to work and regained a normal life. Both my husband and son know that Dafa is great and they try to be good people.

When my son Xiaohao was a child, I often told him about Dafa, including stories published in Minghui periodicals and videos. He grew up listening to them. He and I often joined group Fa study on Sundays, and we read Zhuan Falunand Master’s other lectures. When he was busy with schoolwork, he asked me to read Master Li’s new lectures to him. I selected articles from Minghui that were suitable for his age and read them to him. Growing up in this environment, Xiaohao is kind and healthy. His teacher praised him for being excellent in academics and his personality.

When Xiaohao was in elementary school, the teacher once asked him to oversee cleaning the classroom. I reminded him not to be too strict with his classmates. He assured me and said, “I will be fine. I know the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance.” He then gave me an example. He told one classmate, “You did very well. If you could also clean behind the door, it would be even better. I can help you clean.” That classmate happily cleaned that area.

When the school required students to enroll in the CCP’s Young Pioneers, Xiaohao told the teacher that he did not want to do so. He also asked me to explain this to the teacher after school. I did this and the teacher understood. When Xiaohao later told his friends how he was able to avoid joining the Young Pioneers, several of them said that they wanted to do the same, but did not dare to do it.

After getting into high school, Xiaohao was the first place in his grade in a major exam. This is a reputable high school and the teacher found out that he was the only one in the class who was not a member of the CCP’s Youth League. When the teacher said this might negatively affect his future, my son explained that he might go overseas later and membership in the CCP’s organizations could prevent one from obtaining a green card. After the teacher left, a classmate praised my son for upholding his principles. When another classmate discussed this during lunch that day, my son told them about how the CCP persecuted Falun Dafa, including forced organ harvesting. That classmate understood and went online that day, and quit the Youth League with a pseudonym.

Right before the college entrance exams, I reminded Xiaohao to recite “Falun Dafa is good” and “Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good” if he had difficulty. I explained that a human being’s wisdom came from the divine. He agreed and, after dropping him off at the examination place, I went to a nearby residential area to distribute Dafa materials. Later on, Xiaohao said right before turning in the math exam test paper, he noticed one question was answered wrong and corrected it. When the final results came out, his score was the same as the cutoff line for clinical medicine, which he had applied for. Had he not corrected that answer, he would not be eligible to attend the medical university. Was this luck? I think Master was helping him.

The college organized students to sing songs that praised the CCP. Because of the lineup, 34 out of 35 students in his class would participate. A draw was made in the end to decide who would skip the lineup and it was Xiaohao. His classmates congratulated him because they did not like the event either. The activity was later canceled.

When it was time to apply for graduate school, there were many candidates and the competition was intense. Xiaohao applied for a renowned graduate school. As a Falun Dafa practitioner, however, he just did what he could without pursuit. When the exam results came out, his score was the cutoff line for admission. His teacher was surprised, “It seems this cutoff line was designed for you.” In fact, Xiaohao’s major was also critical. Had he chosen a different one, he might not have been accepted. Some classmates’ scores were higher than his, but they were not admitted because of the major they chose. Some students had applied for graduate schools for three or four years.

After reading Master’s recent lecture, “How Humankind Came To Be,” Xiaohao was moved and he further understood the importance of kindness. He is an intern in a surgical department, and is responsible for replacing external medicine after surgery. He is very considerate and gentle. The patients praised him and told each other, “This young man does not cause you pain.”

Very often the patients went to a surgeon’s office to replace their medicine. One patient was a paralyzed elderly man, and his family member offered Xiaohao some money. Xiaohao kindly told him no need and he would do his best. The family members were touched.

Several patients have contacted the hospital in the past praising Xiaohao and his advisor also likes him. Xiaohao might not be so outstanding on technical skills, but by following the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, he makes a difference.

My husband was also grateful to Master Li. Many young people these days are depressed and some have mental issues, including his friend’s children. There are few job opportunities for young people in China, so some just stay home and play games. My husband is very thankful to Master Li and respects Dafa very much.

On the 33rd anniversary since Falun Dafa was introduced to the public, I hope more people will read Zhuan Falun, the main teachings of Falun Dafa, and benefit like my family has.
