Additional Persecution News from China – April 23, 2025 (8 Reports)

(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 8 cities or counties in 6 provinces, where at least 18 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

1. [Yingkou City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Jin Cuixiang Arrested
2. [Kunming City, Yunnan Province] More Than Ten Practitioners Harassed

4. [Baoding City, Hebei Province] Ms. Dong Chunling’s Home Ransacked
5. [Fushun City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Tong Jing Held in Detention Center
6. [Pingliang City, Gansu Province] Mr. Yang Zonglin Arrested
7. [Meizhou City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Luo Suling and Her Sister Ms. Luo Shiya Sentenced to Prison
8. [Shanghai] Mr. Ran Xinglong Arrested

1. [Yingkou City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Jin Cuixiang Arrested

Ms. Jin Cuixiang, 59, from Bayuquan District, was arrested and had her home ransacked on April 21, 2025.

2. [Kunming City, Yunnan Province] More Than Ten Practitioners Harassed

Over ten practitioners were harassed over the phone by officers from the Songming County Domestic Security Division. They police revealed that they had been monitoring the practitioners through street surveillance cameras and they knew everything the practitioners did. Even Ms. Deng Meifen’s son, who doesn’t practice Falun Gong, was also harassed on April 14 and 15, 2025.

3. [Macheng City, Hubei Province] Mr. Fu Yi Arrested

Officers from the Fuzihe Town Police Station pried open the door of Mr. Fu Yi’s rental home in the downtown area of Macheng City and arrested him on April 15, 2025.

4. [Baoding City, Hebei Province] Ms. Dong Chunling’s Home Ransacked

Four officers from the Dongguan Police Station in Lianchi District ordered Ms. Dong Chunling to report to them on the morning of April 21, 2025. Ms. Dong didn’t go and the police arrived in the afternoon to raid her home. She has been forced to live away from home to hide from the police.

5. [Fushun City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Tong Jing Held in Detention Center

Ms. Tong Jing was arrested by officers from the Zhanqian Police Station, in Xinfu District, after she went out after 8: 30 a.m. on March 7, 2025. She was taken to the Fushun City Detention Center and has been held there for more than 40 days.

6. [Pingliang City, Gansu Province] Mr. Yang Zonglin Arrested

Mr. Yang Zonglin was arrested by Pingliang City Domestic Security Division officers in April 2025.

7. [Meizhou City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Luo Suling and Her Sister Ms. Luo Shiya Sentenced to Prison

Ms. Luo Suling and her sister Ms. Luo Shiya (also known as Luo Suya) were sentenced to prison by the Meijiang District Court. Ms. Luo Suling was sentenced to one year and nine months and fined 25,000 yuan, and Ms. Luo Shiya received two years and a 30,000-yuan fine.

8. [Shanghai] Mr. Ran Xinglong Arrested

Mr. Ran Xinglong from Shanghai was arrested and his home was ransacked on April 21, 2025, by police officers from Anhui Province.
