(Minghui.org) To commemorate the 33rd anniversary of Falun Dafa’s public introduction, Oregon Governor Tina Kotek issued a proclamation, and proclaimed May 13, 2025 as Falun Dafa Day in Oregon. She encouraged Oregon citizens to participate in the celebration and promote the universal principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance.

The proclamation reads:

WHEREAS: Falun Dafa is an advanced cultivation practice of mind, body and spirit based on the universal principles of Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance; and

WHEREAS: Falun Dafa transcends cultural and racial boundaries and contributes to the universal dream of a peaceful, tolerant, and more compassionate society; and

WHEREAS: Falun Dafa practitioners in Oregon experience stress reduction, health improvement and spiritual growth, and strive to create virtuous communities; and

WHEREAS: Falun Dafa is practiced by citizens of all ages in Oregon and all Falun Dafa activities, including classes and practices, are offered by volunteers, open to the public and free of charge; and

WHEREAS: Falun Dafa practitioners’ determination and courage to stand up for the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance in the face of severe persecution has shown the world the value of life and preciousness of human dignity.”

WHEREAS: Falun Dafa practitioners in Oregon join practitioners all over the world to celebrate the World Falun Dafa Day on May 13, 2021.

THEREFORE: I, Tina Kotek, Governor of the State of Oregon, hereby proclaim May 13, 2025 to be FALUN DAFA DAY HONORING TRUTHFULNESS-COMPASSION-TOLERANCE in Oregon and encourage all Oregonians to join in this observance.
