France: People Commend Falun Dafa at Two Events in Paris

June 13, 2025 |   By Zhou Wenying, Minghui correspondent in Paris

(Minghui.org) Practitioners held events in Belleville and Chatelet on June 6 and June 7, 2025, to introduce Falun Dafa and tell people how the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) persecutes the spiritual discipline in China. As passersby were drawn to the music as they demonstrated the exercises, some said they were interested in learning how to do them and asked where they could do that.

Angela, a PhD student, was moved to tears. She said she was appalled when she heard that Falun Dafa practitioners in China are persecuted and their organs are removed while they are still alive. Many people signed the petition calling for an end to the persecution. Some said the persecution should be stopped as soon as possible.

Practitioners held an Information Day event in Chatelet on Saturday, June 7.

Theater Director: Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance Are Fundamental

Mr. Mario Lopez from Italy is a theater director and works in Paris. He talked to practitioners during the event on June 7 and signed the petition to end the persecution. He said, “Everyone has the right to practice their belief.

“Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance are fundamental values. They are crucial and have been firmly rooted in people’s personal values,” he said.

Falun Dafa Can Make Humankind Wonderful

Mr. Neo Tsoe, who works in the media, said that he is descended from American Indians. This was not the first time he’d heard about Falun Dafa and the persecution, so when he spoke with practitioners at the event in Chatelet, he asked about the current situation.

Mr. Tsoe said Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance echo all the sacred religions that promote love and kindness, “[In Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance] I see positivity and kindness. I always wondered why the CCP thinks Falun Dafa is attacking it. In fact, Falun Dafa only makes people better and drives humanity forward, because this is what we currently lack: kindness, goodwill, awareness and love. These are all gradually disappearing. I think practicing Falun Dafa provides a sense of harmony.”

He thought the CCP’s persecution of Falun Dafa was terrible and unacceptable. He said that international organizations are ignoring what is happening in China, as if it has nothing to do with them.

He hoped to learn more so he could spread the information on his social media channel.

Teacher Praises Falun Dafa’s Values

Brigitte from Lorient

Brigette, a teacher from Lorient in western France, said she believes there will be a day when all the negative things come to an end. She said, “We are going through a very difficult period but we must persevere.

“We should not persecute people because of their beliefs. Even if their views are different from ours, we should still defend their freedom to express and practice their beliefs. Especially when it is a form of spiritual practice and does not harm anyone.”

As a teacher, Brigitte thinks that it is important to teach people, especially children and teenagers, practices such as Falun Dafa, which can help them find their true selves and learn how to distinguish right from wrong so that they will be able to do the right thing.

Reflecting on Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance, Brigitte said, “Everyone should have compassion and be kind, I think. Forbearance needs to be nurtured, because patience is very important. If we aren’t tolerant, we’ll react impulsively and that doesn’t lead to good results. I think that it is very important to be truthful. I believe that we have not stressed this lately but we will in the future.”

Reporter: We Cannot Accept Violence

Falun Dafa practitioners held an Information Day event in Belleville on Friday June 6.

Ms. Lily Tamer, a former reporter who spoke to practitioners at their event in Belleville, was alarmed to hear about the CCP’s state-sanctioned forced organ harvesting that targets Falun Dafa practitioners. She said she reads books and newspapers and asked, “Why doesn’t the media report on this?” She knew there was cruelty in the world, but this was the first time she’d ever heard about forced organ harvesting.

She said the media remains silent because of economic benefits. She said, “Life is priceless. People say nothing because they might lose financially. How can they do that?” Ms. Tamer said that she could not accept violence or the lack of freedom.
