Practitioners set up an information booth at the entrance to Mannheim’s shopping district. They demonstrated the exercises, distributed truth clarifying materials, and introduced Falun Dafa to passersby. They told them about Falun Dafa and why millions of people practice it. They also let them know about the persecution of Falun Dafa by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), which has gone on for the past 26 years.

Many people signed a petition that calls for an end to the persecution. They also extended their best wishes, hoping that practitioners succeed in ending the persecution soon.

Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance Are Important

Ms. Sathya-Jane Naumann expressed her support for Falun Dafa.

Ms. Sathya-Jane Naumann, who was attending training classes for a human resource management project, said, “Everyone should have the right to choose a more healthy and free lifestyle. This should be respected.”

Staring at the “Falun Dafa” banner, Ms. Naumann took out her mobile phone and smiled as she said, “I really like this. I am going to take a photo of it.”

A practitioner told her that, apart from the five exercises which the practitioners were demonstrating, Falun Dafa also has a book of teachings. The practitioner handed her a copy of Zhuan Falun, and Ms. Naumann started to read it.

When she found out that Falun Dafa’s cultivation principles are Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance, she said, “This is very important. This can help people get along with each other. We cannot just think about ourselves, we must also care for others.”

Ms. Naumann seemed very pleased when a practitioner gave her a small lotus flower keepsake with “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion- Forbearance is good” printed on it.

The Importance of Exposing the Persecution

Another student, Mr. Abdu Jafar, said, “A Falun Dafa practitioner told me just now how practitioners in China are arrested and their organs are harvested without their consent. That’s why I signed the petition. I hope the German government can lend a hand to resolve this issue.

“This event today is very meaningful. If you don’t do this, many people will never know that such things [forced organ harvesting from Falun Dafa practitioners] are happening. I think that this is very good.”

Mr. Jafar remarked that, “Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance have a positive influence on people and society. I think that kind people are generous and will do their best to help others. If everyone’s hearts were filled with compassion, there wouldn’t be any problems or conflicts in the world.

“I live in Weinheim. When can you go there to hold an event like this? That would be great.”

“I Will Definitely Stand on the Side of Justice”

A man from India told a practitioner, “I am a Christian. I know that the CCP is anti-God. I condemn their suppression and persecution of religions and beliefs.”

A German man and his friend crossed the street to sign the petition and told a practitioner, “Germany still has a certain degree of financial reliance on China’s supply chain, but for things like this, I will definitely stand on the side of justice. I wish you success!”

Two students from Taiwan told a practitioner that Falun Dafa can be seen in many places in Taiwan. They signed the petition to show their support for practitioners’ efforts to call for an end to the persecution and took copies of The Epoch Times newspaper and the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party to read.
