(Minghui.org) An individual who has recently joined online practitioner groups is claiming to be a high-level correspondent sent by the Minghui website. He purports to act on behalf of Minghui and the Dafa Association to manage these online groups and guide different projects and practitioners. He has also claimed that, as a representative of Minghui and the Dafa Association, he will determine which project teams and Fa-study groups can remain. In addition, he has instructed practitioners in China to send persecution reports to him so that he can forward them to Minghui, implying that submitting articles through Minghui’s secure internal mailbox is unreliable and that only he can contact Minghui through his “special channels.” This person has also sent private messages to try to gather practitioners’ personal information under various pretexts.

Veteran Dafa disciples who have been tempered through Fa-rectification cultivation and those who truly cultivate can quickly see that this type of individual is problematic. Over these 26 years of persecution, similar people have appeared in various settings in China.

In the past, these people would go from one place to another in China, but now they have mostly moved onto social media platforms, where they continue to cause disruption. Some claim to be able to contact Master Li directly, some call themselves “main coordinators,” and some say they represent the Dafa Association. While their appearances vary, they share in the goal of building personal power and prestige while “doing big things.” These are all irrational behaviors driven by human attachments. These people have appeared regularly over the years because they can always find practitioners who give them an audience.

For 26 years, those who work for Minghui have kept a low profile; they contribute quietly, cultivate their speech, and maintain confidentiality. Correspondents and practitioners who operate material production sites in China communicate through single points of contact. Is there a need for people with pseudonyms like “Desheng” (“得胜”) on Signal and “Shenyong” (“神勇”) on Telegram, as well as self-proclaimed “heroes” and their associates, to parade themselves among practitioners and order others around?

In fact, Master described this kind of person long ago in Zhuan Falun:

“He thinks to himself, “I’m qualified to be a factory director or manager, or in an even higher position. I think that I could even be Prime Minister.” The boss may also say that this person is really capable and can accomplish anything. Coworkers may also express that he is really capable and talented.”

Are they good people who have humility and respect for others? Are they cultivating? They are only indulging and displaying their demon nature.

If these people are not agents [of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP)], then they are muddling along among practitioners while holding onto strong attachments. Their actions have not only seriously disrupted the environment for clarifying the truth and saving people in China but also brought severe losses to their own cultivation. They are harming themselves, other practitioners, and the world’s people. If they do not immediately put a stop to this behavior and make up for the losses they have caused, the consequences will be unimaginable.

The CCP’s persecution of Falun Gong has not ended, nor has it let up in its efforts to infiltrate and disrupt other countries. Given this environment, Minghui has published multiple articles asking practitioners in China not to form online groups for studying the Fa, doing the exercises, or engaging in other activities. Yet some continue to argue, claiming that the Minghui Editorial Board and Master’s teachings have not explicitly prohibited such activities.

Some people have created chat groups on Discord and recruited practitioners in China to join their cliques, with the largest numbering in the hundreds. Should one who has taken up cultivation be striving for influence and fame in the secular world? When problems occur, they try to shift responsibility onto others.

Practitioners in China and recent emigrants who continue to set up and participate in these online groups should think seriously about what notions may cause one to be so attached and if they are really being responsible for their own cultivation. Practitioners who give these disruptive people an audience should ask themselves whether they have studied the Fa well and clarified the truth to save people, and whether they are acting rationally and taking the Fa as their teacher.

With the Fa-rectification drawing to a close, those who still do not seize the day to do the three things well may find it too late for regret in the not-too-distant future.
