(Minghui.org) Practitioners held activities in front of the Parliament House in Helsinki on June 18, 2025, calling on the public to pay attention to the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) 26 year long persecution of Falun Dafa.

Sinikka Suontakanen, spokesperson for the Finnish Falun Dafa Association, recounted the CCP’s atrocities against Falun Dafa practitioners during her speech, including the CCP’s slanderous propaganda campaign, illegal imprisonment, torture, and organ harvesting from living Falun Dafa practitioners. Sinikka called on the Finnish Parliament to stop the CCP’s extension of its persecution overseas and to help stop its organ-harvesting atrocities.

Two Falun Dafa practitioners described their experiences of being persecuted when they were in China. Ms. Jin Zhaohuan recounted how she was persecuted and had to escape China. Ms. Lan Lili talked about her three imprisonments. They called for the international community to see through the CCP’s manipulation of overseas media and political circles and to stop its atrocities.

Several people expressed concern including a journalist. He watched practitioners do the exercises and talked with them to learn about Falun Dafa. He thanked them and took brochures to read.

A young man said he had visited China several times and knew the CCP was oppressive, but he hadn’t heard about Falun Dafa. He thanked practitioners for showing him a broader picture of China and wished them great success.
