Japanese Practitioners Inspired by World Falun Dafa Day Articles

June 5, 2025

(Minghui.org) Fifty-two World Falun Dafa Day articles written by Falun Dafa practitioners from different countries were published on Minghui in honor of the occasion. They described how practicing Falun Dafa helped them improve, physically and spiritually.

Practitioners in Japan thought the articles were invaluable because they helped them identify their gaps and showed them where they can improve.

Making Breakthroughs

Mr. Chuji said he was very touched by the article “Letting Go of Attachments and Gaining Naturally Without Pursuit.” The author described how, when she eliminated resentment for her husband and treated him with compassion, he stopped gambling and began to follow the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, eventually becoming a Falun Dafa practitioner. The couple was recruited by a major design company and applied the Falun Dafa teachings in their daily lives. Their jobs went well, and they became financially stable. The husband was promoted to a management position.

In describing her turning point, the author wrote, “I felt shocked—as though I were hit by a hammer: I’d pursued personal gain all these years. Is this how a practitioner should behave? Through continuous Fa study, I let go of my resentment, human notions, and attachments.” Mr. Chuji said he had a similar experience of letting go of attachments.

Mr. Chuji often interviewed people at events to introduce Falun Dafa and asked for their feedback, which was written up in event reports. He noticed most Japanese were willing to share their thoughts but did not want their picture taken. Most non-Japanese did not object, so Mr. Chuji usually focused on them.

In a recent parade celebrating World Falun Dafa Day, Mr. Chuji realized the first few people he interviewed were not Japanese. He decided to focus on Japanese, and it went well. When he chatted with a man who seemed to be Japanese Mr. Chuji learned he was actually Chinese and lived in Japan. The man gave very positive feedback about the parade and the interview was published on Minghui.

From this experience, Mr. Chuji realized that it is important for us to let go of human notions, such as the attachment to comfort: “We will see miracles when we strive to improve.”

Paying Attention to Small Things

Ms. Yang said she was moved by the article “My Husband Finally Realizes That Falun Dafa Is Good.” The author’s husband was stubborn and demanding, and he refused to talk about Falun Dafa. The author was a diligent practitioner, and her behavior gradually changed her husband as well as his family.

Ms. Yang said she felt very lucky when she compared her experiences to the author’s. Her husband treated her very well and often drove her to Dafa activities. He also paid for most of their daily expenses and helped with household chores. However, Ms. Yang often complained about him over trivial things. She also indulged herself, such as in eating fine food and traveling. She realized she’d gradually slacked off in her cultivation.

When she thought about her cultivation after reading the article, Ms. Yang said that practicing Falun Dafa is serious: “We have to be strict with ourselves when we encounter anything, big or small. Otherwise, we may go off track without realizing it.”

Telling Others About Falun Dafa

Ms. Tanimoto said she liked the article “The Miners Recite ‘Falun Dafa Is Good,’” The author quickly familiarized himself with all kinds of skills. He did everything well, and his peers and company officials respected him.

When a coworker was injured, the author reminded him to recite “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.” Although the coworker had to be carried out of the mine, he was able to walk again by the time he got to the hospital. The doctors were amazed. From this incident, other coworkers and the company officials understood Falun Dafa, and many of them quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) organizations.

Ms. Tanimoto said she and her coworkers rarely discussed their spiritual beliefs. In spite of the persecution, the author of this article was able to share Falun Dafa with others and help them. Ms. Tanimoto realized she needed to do better and find ways to let the people around her know about Falun Dafa so they can benefit from the practice.
