Canada: Elected Officials at All Levels of Government Send Congratulatory Letters for the 26th World Falun Dafa Day (Part 4)

(Minghui.org) (continued from Part 3) May 13, 2025 was the 26th annual World Falun Dafa Day and the 33rd anniversary of Falun Dafa’s public introduction. Elected officials at all three levels of government in Canada issued proclamations, video remarks, or letters to commemorate the occasion and to commend Falun Dafa practitioners for their contribution to their communities.

Commend the Resilience and Dedication in Promoting Peace, Wellness, and Human Dignity

MP Anita Vandenbeld and her congratulatory letter

Honorable Anita Vandenbeld, Member of Parliament for Ottawa West-Nepean, wrote in her letter:

“I would like to extend my warmest greetings to all those attending the annual Falun Dafa Day celebration on Parliament Hill.

“This event is a powerful reminder of the universal values that unite us—Truthfulness, Compassion, and Tolerance. These principles not only form the foundation of Falun Dafa, but also inspire peaceful coexistence and mutual respect across diverse communities in Canada and beyond.

In her proclamation MP Anita Vandenbeld stated:

Honorable Claude Guay, member of the Liberal Party, Member of Parliament for LaSalle-Émard-Verdun, wrote:
