(Minghui.org) Falun Gong (Falun Dafa) practitioners in Paris held a rally and collected signatures at Place André Tardieuon July 19, 2025, marking 26 years of peaceful resistance to the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) persecution, and calling for collective efforts to stop the CCP atrocities.

Falun Gong practitioners held a rally on Place André Tardieu in Paris on July 19.

Mr. Tang Hanlong, president of the Falun Dafa Association of France, addressed the rally.

Mr. Tang Hanlong, president of the Falun Dafa Association of France, recounted Falun Dafa’s introduction, the benefits of practicing, and how the CCP launched the persecution in 1999, aiming to wipe out Falun Gong within three months. He quoted Minghui’s statistics of the verified 5,238 deaths, and said the actual number was much higher, but couldn’t be verified due to the CCP’s information blockade.

“Thousands of Falun Gong practitioners are still being imprisoned and tortured and having their organs harvested,” Tang said. “We must step up to expose these facts! We’ll continue to fight for human rights and justice until all persecutors are brought to justice!”

A statement from Doctors Against Forced Organ Harvesting (DAFOH) pointed out that the Chinese government kills Falun Gong practitioners for their hearts, lungs, livers, kidneys, and other vital organs for 60,000 to 100,000 organ transplant surgeries each year, and that an innocent person is killed and his organs taken without consent every 30 minutes. After mounting evidence was reviewed by the China Tribunal, many countries have banned organ transplant travel to China. DAFOH, together with the International Coalition to End Transplant Abuse in China (ETAC), launched an online global petition (FOHpetition.org) to G7+7 nations, calling to stop forced organ harvesting in China.

Jean-Pierre

Local resident Jean-Pierre said he was appalled by the organ-harvesting and said he felt that the CCP persecutes such a peaceful group of people because the regime is afraid of them. “We must condemn this conduct and the forced organ harvesting. It’s not only a matter of Falun Gong, but also a matter of the entire humanity. We have to seize the core of the problem and prioritize it. It’s a fundamental problem for mankind.”

Catherine Wintisch said she and her family had escaped communist Hungary, so she knew that the CCP was especially cruel. She said the organ harvesting was inhuman and reminded her of the Nazi’s experiments on living people during World War II.
