Shandong Man Jailed for His Faith in Falun Gong

(Minghui.org) A Laixi City, Shandong Province resident has been admitted to the Shandong Province Prison to serve a three-year term for practicing Falun Gong.

Mr. Zheng Shuli was arrested on March 20, 2025 by officers from the Laixi City Police Department and held at the Laixi City Detention Center. He was sentenced to three years on April 11, 2025.

Mr. Zheng was previously arrested on September 10, 2023 for distributing Falun Gong materials at a community fair. Officers from the Malianzhuang Police Station raided his home the next day and confiscated his Falun Gong books.

The police took Mr. Zheng back home five days later and took photos of him at the front door, while keeping him handcuffed. He was held at the Laixi City Detention Center for a month and released on October 10, 2023.
