July 27, 2025 |   By a Falun Gong practitioner in Saipan

(Minghui.org) Falun Gong practitioners in Saipan gathered at the Toyota intersection on the afternoon of July 20, 2025, to hold a peaceful event marking 26 years of protesting the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) persecution.

They told people about the persecution and called on the public to help stop the CCP’s forced organ harvesting from practitioners in China. They also shared the benefits of the practice, hoping the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance will stay in people’s hearts and bring goodness to the world.

Calling for an End to the CCP’s Persecution

Practitioners stood quietly by the seaside road, holding banners. Some drivers opened their windows to receive flyers and small origami lotus flowers. Others waved at practitioners, gave them a thumbs up, or slowed down to read the banners. Some drivers honked their horns to show their support.

Many people talked to practitioners to learn more about Falun Gong. Some were drawn by the peaceful and gentle movements of the exercises. Others said they could feel the pure and calm energy and asked where they could learn the exercises.

Around 7:30 in the evening, the practitioners held a candlelight vigil. They shared information and protested the CCP’s 26-year-long ongoing persecution. They called on governments and people around the world to help stop the CCP’s atrocities.

People Support Justice and Kindness

Santiago was deeply moved after seeing the event and said, “This is energy, pure energy. Being part of it, I feel it is completely positive. It is peaceful, joyful, beautiful, and full of hope.”

Regarding the 26-year-long persecution and forced organ harvesting, he said, “I care about China and the suffering of its people. They have been denied the right of freedom of belief. I support Falun Gong practitioners and the values they uphold. I also value the importance of religious freedom in democratic countries.”

The event also drew public attention and support. Some local residents in Saipan shared information about the event on social media and expressed their support. One resident said, “Falun Gong is good. We should help stop the CCP’s cruel and inhumane persecution.”

Another resident said, “Falun Gong is speaking up for human rights. The banners mention serious issues like persecution and organ harvesting.” He also shared some background about Falun Gong: “Falun Gong started in China in 1992. It combines meditation and moral teachings based on Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance. Although it is banned in China, it is now freely practiced in over 100 countries around the world.”
