My Heartwarming Cultivation Stories

(Minghui.org) I started practicing Falun Dafa in 1997. Although I have been practicing for more than 20 years, I still have many attachments. Now that the Fa-rectification has reached its final stage, I really need to pay attention to cultivating my xinxing, dig out those human notions and attachments, and become a true practitioner.

After I got married, my husband did not take care of or support our family. He spent all his money on other women and did not help raise our two children. I was the only bringing in an income, so I paid particular attention to money. I was afraid my family would not have enough to eat and that I would not have enough money to pay for my children’s education. I was very careful about my expenses. My children now have jobs and good lives, and they’re willing to spend money on me. But I’m still very attached to money. I know this is what I need to cultivate away.

One day, my husband told me that his friend Wei wanted to borrow 1,500 yuan. He told his friend that I was in charge of our family finances and that he had no say. My husband told me, “Don’t lend it to him. He won’t be able to repay you.” I thought to myself, “Wei was a member of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), his wife joined the Youth League, and their children joined the Young Pioneers. I helped them all to withdraw from these organizations. Their whole family also supported the lawsuit against Jiang Zemin.

“Some of their children work in other places, and some farm at home. How could I not help Wei’s family when they are in trouble? I should let go of my attachment to personal gain and let everything take its course.” I prepared 1,500 yuan, and Wei came over to pick it up. That made my husband angry, and he scolded me. A few months later, Wei returned the money, and my husband was happy again. I went to give Wei and his wife truth-clarification materials, and the couple readily accepted them. They sincerely believe Falun Dafa is good!

Last year, my husband hired a relative to remove the remaining stalks and stubble in our field. He paid 40 yuan per mu of land (0.164 acres), a total of 400 yuan for 10 mu of land. The relative drove the truck from one end of the field to the other, removing the stubble but not taking out the roots. He finished clearing ten mu of land in one day. When it was time to plant, we couldn’t, because we had to first dig out the roots of the stubble with a pick axe, which even made passersby angry. We finally had to hire a plow to remove the roots, which cost another 500 yuan. My husband had planned to give half of what we earned from that field to his relative.

I thought that, as a Dafa practitioner, I shouldn’t make an enemy over this matter and prevent someone from being offered salvation. I told my husband to give his relative all of the 400 yuan for removing the stubble: “Even though he didn’t do a good job, you should bear some of the responsibility. You hired someone to do the work but didn’t keep an eye on him. Why didn’t you tell him he didn’t do a good job? Give him the 400 yuan.”

My husband is an irresponsible man who’s been having affairs. What’s worse, some of these women came to my home to humiliate me. One woman always pushed him to scold and bully me. My first thought was, “She’s full of evil!” But then I remembered that practitioners have energy, and sending evil thoughts to others would cause them tribulations. I promptly eliminated my evil thoughts. At the same time, I looked inward, and I was really shocked.

It turned out that I was jealous of and resented these women, because I wanted my husband to love me. Those human thoughts had to be eliminated. I tried my best to tolerate those women with the kindness of a practitioner. I told them the facts about Dafa, encouraged them to quit the Party, and wished them a good life. My kindness and tolerance moved them, and they agreed to withdraw from the CCP.

Master Li said,

“With the arrival of the End Times, it became forbidden for lives without such a tie to become human; this was done so as to ensure that the task of salvation could be better fulfilled.” (“Why the Creator Seeks to Save All Life”)

I realized that the people in the world today were all Master’s relatives in history. Otherwise, in the Fa-rectification Age, they would not have the opportunity to reincarnate into this world where Dafa is spreading.

Because of all the surveillance cameras that have been installed on the streets, some practitioners are afraid to distribute truth-clarification materials. I strengthened my righteous thoughts and asked Master every time I went out, “Master, please help strengthen me so that the evildoers can’t see me.” I also said to the surveillance cameras, “I’m going out to save people. Close your eyes and go to sleep. I am saving people, and you will accumulate merit. When I succeed in cultivation, I will take you home with Master.” In the process, I eliminated my fear and returned home safely every time.

A few years ago, practitioner Ding asked me to go her village with her to clarify the truth and get people to support the lawsuit against Jiang Zemin. We divided the work and told the villagers about the beauty of Dafa and how Jiang Zemin was persecuting people who practice Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance. We also explained how quitting the CCP organizations would protect themselves and their families.

All the villagers signed their names. We then went to a small store and met an elderly woman with her two grandchildren. Through our conversation, we learned that the woman’s husband had passed away, her son had been arrested for fighting, and her daughter-in-law had left him. We persuaded them to withdraw from the Party, and all three signed the petition to sue Jiang Zemin. One grandson said, “I signed for my father to help him quit.” The woman’s son later returned home as did her daughter-in-law. The couple went to the city to work, and a broken family was reunited!

My neighbor Lin, a former classmate, has a son and a daughter. I helped her and her husband do the three withdrawals. Lin’s daughter has a college degree and is a CCP member. After she graduated, she worked in a big city and earned about 10,000 yuan a month. When she returned home for the Chinese New Year holiday one year, I went with a practitioner to clarify the truth to her. She agreed to quit the CCP and accepted an amulet. She changed her job that same year and now earns 20,000 yuan a month.

Lin’s son did not go to college and didn’t have a proper job. When my youngest son came home for the Chinese New Year holiday one year, a group of his friends came to my home every day to play poker, and Lin’s son was one of them. I clarified the truth to them, and they all quit the Party. Not long after, Lin’s son met a girl, and they got married. Their child is now a teenager. They are in business in the city and are doing very well.

My little nephew often bought snacks at convenience stores. He would buy a lot each time. If he didn’t have enough money, he would buy on credit. When his debt accumulated, the clerk went see his parents, who would beat him. He was also not good a good student and dropped out of school after junior high.

However, he loved to listen to me tell him about Dafa. As soon as he saw me, he would ask for some brochures and share them with his friends. That is why he was blessed. When he was 20, his cousin, who lived in the city, found him a very good job. My nephew worked for two years, and his cousin helped introduce him to a girl. The cousin’s family also bought him an apartment. My nephew is now happily married and their child is in preschool.

Last year, my children, who all work elsewhere, wanted to come home for the Chinese New Year holiday. Before they arrived, packages had already started to show up at my door. My son bought pork, beef, mutton, and fruits and vegetables. My daughter-in-law bought new clothes and shoes, basins, bowls, chopsticks, and tea sets. My second son bought me a box of laundry detergent. After the family dinner, my daughter-in-law gave me 5,000 yuan. On my birthday in February, my daughter-in-law bought me a cake and gave me another 2,000 yuan. I know this is all a reflection of Master’s compassionate care for me.
