(Minghui.org) Practitioners participated in the New Jersey State Fair, which was held August 1 to 9, 2025. They told people about Falun Dafa and raised awareness of the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) persecution of Falun Dafa (Falun Gong).
Known as the Garden State’s “summer celebration,” this century-old state fair includes agriculture, equestrian events, food, family entertainment, and live performances. It attracts over 200,000 visitors annually and is one of New Jersey’s largest and most popular fairs.
According to organizers, besides New Jersey, visitors (mostly families) come from New York, Pennsylvania, and Connecticut.
Practitioners demonstrate the exercises, distribute flyers, and tell people about the CCP’s persecution.

Practitioners have been a presence at the fair for years. This year, as always, they showcased the peaceful Falun Dafa exercises and attracted many visitors. Some wanted to know about Falun Dafa, while others were interested in learning the exercises. After being told about the persecution, many people signed the petition calling on the U.S. Senate to pass the Falun Gong Protection Act.
Several people already familiar with Falun Dafa came by to express their respect and support. Manni from Middletown, New York, and his wife stopped to chat. They said they knew about Falun Gong and came over when they saw practitioners demonstrating the exercises. After learning more about the persecution in China, they signed the petition.
After watching the exercise demonstration, a man bought a Falun Gong book just before closing time on August 3. He also asked to take a photo with a practitioner.

Many students who came to the fair paused to watch the practitioners’ exercise demonstration and try out the exercises. They also signed the petition.
