(Minghui.org) To celebrate Guam’s 81st Liberation Day, a grand parade was held in the capital city, Hagana, on July 21, 2025. The parade featured seventy groups and eighteen floats, including the Tian Guo Marching Band. The scene was lively and warm, and celebrated Guam’s appreciation of freedom and tolerance for diverse cultures.
The Tian Guo Marching Band first joined the grand parade for the 64th Liberation Day in 2008 and was awarded a certificate of thanks by the speaker of the Guam Legislature, Tina Barnes. In 2024, the Tian Guo Marching Band, which is composed of over seventy members, once again joined the Liberation Day parade on its 80th anniversary and was well received.
