(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 6 cities or counties in 5 provinces, where at least 9 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.
Ms. Mu Chunxiang, around 60, was arrested by Huanxi Township Police Station officers on June 5, 2023. The police confiscated a computer, a printer, and office supplies from her home. She was held in the Jilin City Detention Center for over a year before being sentenced to four years. She was taken to Jilin Province Women’s Prison in 2024.
Ms. Zhou Chenghui was arrested by Qingguang Town Police Station officers on the morning of July 25, 2025. The police ransacked her home and confiscated her Falun Gong books, TF cards, and cell phone. She is being held in the police station.
Mr. Ge Xin, 57, was arrested by officers from the Leifeng Police Station in mid-July 2025. He is being held in the Fushun City Detention Center.
Ms. Deng Yuemei was harassed by Sanjiao Police Station officers in May 2025. They took pictures of her and attempted to deceive her into signing a statement to renounce Falun Gong by promising to remove her from their blacklist.
Ms. Zhong Suyun was harassed by the deputy director of the Jiangnan Police Station on June 16, 2025. The police returned to harass her again the next day.
Ms. Luo Xiaoling was harassed at home by community personnel and officers from the Wuzhoucheng Police Station in June 2025 for visiting the Minghui.org website.
Ms. Liu Lin and Ms. Xie Shuxia were photographed and reported to the police while talking to people about Falun Gong on May 13, 2025. Seven officers from the Domestic Security Division and the Lijiang Road Police Station arrested Ms. Liu the next day. They confiscated her Falun Gong books, a computer, and other items. She was detained for 15 days. Ms. Xie was harassed at home.
Ms. Chen Jizhen, 80, was arrested on the morning of June 26, 2025 for talking to people about Falun Gong in public. The arresting officers from the Wujia District Police Station interrogated her before releasing her.
The police broke into Ms. Chen’s home the next day and ransacked it. The confiscated all her Falun Gong books, exercise music, an audio player, and informational materials.
