(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 9 cities or counties in 6 provinces, where at least 17 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

6. [Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province] A Practitioner’s Grandson Arrested
7. [Changzhou City, Hebei Province] Ms. Zhang Ping Detained
8. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Zhang Wenxiu Arrested
9. [Guiyang City, Guizhou Province] Li Sheng Detained
10. [Handan City, Hebei Province] Mr. Wei Baoquan Detained
1. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Chi Haiyun Detained
Ms. Chi Haiyun was arrested at home on September 23, 2026. Officers from the Shihe Police Station searched her place, and confiscated her printer and computer. She is being held at the Yaojia Detention Center.
2. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Eight Practitioners Detained
Eight practitioners are being held in the Yantai City Detention Center.
Ms. Wang Fengmei, in her 70s, was arrested on November 23, 2025.Ms. Yuan Airong, in her 60s, was arrested on January 23, 2026.Ms. Yu Guichun, 73, was arrested on April 14, 2026.Ms. Ji Wenjie, in her 60s, was arrested on May 26, 2026.Ms. Li Meina, around 60, was arrested on July 14, 2026.Ms. Zhang Qiuzhen, in her 60s, was arrested on August 22, 2026.Ms. Zhang Xiulan, in her 60s, was arrested on September 8, 2026.Mr. Zhang Shaohui, in his 50s, was arrested on September 9, 2026.
3. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Lin Jinli Sentenced
Ms. Lin Jinli was arrested when she was visiting Yangzhou City, Jiangsu Province. She was sentenced to three and a half years in prison and fined 10,000 yuan. She is being incarcerated in the Nantong City Women’s Prison in Jiangsu Province.
4. [Shulan City, Jilin Province] Ms. Zhao Ying Harassed
Ms. Zhao Ying, 73, was harassed at home on September 15, 2026, by officers from the Ping’an Police Station. She was terrified, and fainted when they forcibly collected her biometric information. She was taken to the Shulan City Hospital for resuscitation, and was given an injection of an unidentified substance. Her blood was also drawn and photographs were taken. She was brought home after 9 p.m.
5. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Xu Bin Harassed
Ms. Xu Bin, in her 70s, was harassed on August 27, 2026. Officers from the Changchun City Police Department and the Chongqing Road Police Station ransacked her home, and seized her Falun Gong books, tablet, and cell phone. When they tried to take her away, her limbs became rigid and she was unable to walk. Given strong protest from her family, they left without arresting her.
6. [Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province] A Practitioner’s Grandson Arrested
Xiaoshuo (nickname), grandson of a practitioner and a high school student, was arrested at home on September 12, 2026. His cell phone and computer were confiscated. He was released the following day.
7. [Changzhou City, Hebei Province] Ms. Zhang Ping Detained
Ms. Zhang Ping was arrested on September 9, 2026. She was given 15 days of administrative detention and released on September 25.
8. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Zhang Wenxiu Arrested
Ms. Zhang Wenxiu, 65, was arrested on September 11, 2026. The police confiscated her Falun Gong books, paper currency totalling over 4,000 yuan with Falun Gong messages printed on the bills, two computers, four printers, and other belongings. She was released on September 13 and was placed under residential surveillance.
9. [Guiyang City, Guizhou Province] Li Sheng Detained
Li Sheng, gender unknown, was arrested on July 18, 2026, for distributing Falun Gong flyers. He or she is being held in the Sanjiang Detention Center. The case has been submitted to the local procuratorate.
10. [Handan City, Hebei Province] Mr. Wei Baoquan Detained
Mr. Wei Baoquan, 63, was arrested on September 23, 2026, by Kangzhuangxiang Police Station officers, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. The police ransacked his home, photographed his family, and put him under a ten-day detention.
