(Minghui.org) The 2026 Spirit & Knowledge Fair in Helsinki, Finland was held on October 10 and 11. The fair is Finland’s oldest and largest annual spiritual and holistic event. Practitioners set up an information booth to introduce Falun Dafa to visitors, and to expose the Chinese Communist Party’s ongoing persecution of the practice in China.

The event organizer arranged a classroom for the practitioners to teach people how to do the exercises. Two of the security guards came to learn, and told the practitioners that they felt fortunate to be assigned the job that day. They were happy to learn the movements, and expressed interest to join other practitioners at an exercise site regularly.

People read the flyers and talked with practitioners about spiritual beliefs. Many of them didn’t know about the ongoing persecution of Falun Dafa in China. Once they learned that practitioners were persecuted because they refused to renounce their faith and Falun Dafa’s principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance, they were in disbelief.
People were shocked to hear how practitioners were arrested and imprisoned simply for upholding their faith. They expressed sympathy, condemned the persecution and signed the petition demanding Beijing to end the atrocities. People encouraged the practitioners and said what they were doing was meaningful.

Practitioners gave hand-made lotus flowers to those who signed the petition. People asked what the Chinese characters on the flower meant, and said they agreed with Falun Dafa’s guiding principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance.
Many visitors were interested in Falun Dafa and talked with practitioners. After purchasing a copy of Falun Gong in Finnish, a man said he would also read Falun Dafa books in English online in the future.

A practitioner introduced Falun Dafa and its principles and health benefits to Riitta, a nurse from Nokia. She bought a copy of Falun Gong and signed the petition. She said she didn’t want to miss the opportunity to help end the persecution.

Mariah and Oona, mother and daughter, told practitioners that they signed a petition several years ago at a Falun Dafa information booth. They said that they were more than happy to sign the current petition to show their support.
They were shocked and saddened after learning of the government-sanctioned organ harvesting from living practitioners in China. Mariah was in disbelief after learning how wide-spread the crime is, saying, “Everyone should hear about this,” she said.
Robin, a realtor in Helsinki, was sympathetic towards practitioners in China. “It must be terrifying to be persecuted,” he said.
He said that he felt lucky to live in a country where spiritual belief and religious freedom are honored and live organ harvesting is absolutely not tolerated. He signed the petition and wished the practitioners luck before he left.
