(Minghui.org) “In addition to learning about the human rights violations, I also gained an initial understanding of the spiritual principles of Falun Dafa,” said Jean Allais, president of ACAT (Action by Christians for the Abolition of Torture and Capital Punishment). Mr. Allais wrote a letter to event organizers expressing his thoughts after watching the documentary State Organs. He stated, “I’ve learned to understand the spiritual principles of Falun Dafa and how this spirit has deeply touched the hearts of so many Chinese people. I am genuinely happy.”
The documentary State Organs premiered at the CGR Le Dragon cinema in La Rochelle, western France on October 2, 2026. The documentary, which exposes the issue of forced organ harvesting in China, is being screened at several cinemas in western and southern France, as well as in Guadeloupe, an overseas French region in the Caribbean.
"State Organs" premiered at CGR Le Dragon cinema on October 2, 2026.
The screening attracted people from various walks of life, including members of Action by Christians for the Abolition of Torture and Capital Punishment (ACAT) and Amnesty International, students from the Faculty of Literature, Languages, Arts, and Humanities (FLLASH) at the University of La Rochelle, and medical professionals. A student said that the documentary was exceptionally well made and that she learned a lot from it.
Jean Allais, president of ACAT, expressed his support for the organizers and commended them for their efforts during the discussion following the premiere. He mentioned that he knew of a priest who had been imprisoned in China. A member of Amnesty International also emphasized the importance of raising public awareness of these issues.
Audience members were shocked by the forced organ harvesting in China, which the documentary exposes. They signed the G7 petition: “Stop Forced Organ Harvesting” and said they would tell others what they learned and encourage more people to sign the petition online, thus joining the practitioners’ efforts to end the persecution.
After the premiere, Mr. Allias followed up with an email to the event organizers and emphasized that the values in the documentary aligned with those upheld by his organization, stating, “We also have the same spiritual values like praying and meditating. These are values that inspire us to respect all living beings from conception till death. We respect every living being, including the perpetrators and those who direct them. We call on them to stop committing these crimes and rediscover their conscience.”
He continued, “Those Chinese Communist Party leaders have fear for Falun Dafa. Why should they fear a practice that promotes kindness, compassion for others, and respect for the human body and nature?”
He mentioned that the beginning of the documentary is narrated well and give a clear understanding of the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) intent. “They seek to win people’s hearts, yet the CCP rules through lies, intimidation, violence, and even murder. They want to be revered and loved by the people!”
