People Are Blessed After They Understand the Truth About Falun Dafa

(Minghui.org) I began practicing Falun Dafa (Falun Gong) in 1996. Under Master’s compassionate protection, I have made it through many trials and tribulations. Every day, I join the other practitioners to study the Fa, do the exercises, and send forth righteous thoughts. Then I head out to clarify the truth face-to-face. I would like to tell you about a few of my experiences while I and other practitioners clarified the truth about Falun Dafa and the persecution.

80-Year-Old Man: “Falun Gong is truly miraculous!”

An 80-year-old man in my residential complex was a teacher for many years. He understood the truth about Falun Gong. When I heard that he injured his left knee in a fall, I decided to visit him and bring him Master’s article “How Humankind Came To Be.” He opened the door while steadying himself with a small four-wheeled walker, and he looked visibly distressed. He told me that his wife passed away and his son was disabled in a car accident. Although his daughter often came to cook for him and do housework, he stopped eating three days ago. I told him that Dafa’s Master teaches that suicide is a sin and that one should not harbor such a thought. I offered some words of comfort and read Master’s article to him. I gave him the article; I suggested he read it and I encouraged him to say Falun Dafa is good. He accepted a Dafa amulet.

When I saw him again three days later, he happily told me, “After you left, I read the article you gave me several times. That noon, my daughter didn’t come to cook, so I went to the kitchen myself, leaning on my walker. I was worried because I didn’t dare to let go of the walker with one hand for fear of falling, yet I needed to open the refrigerator to get vegetables and noodles. Suddenly, as that thought flashed through my mind, I found myself standing right in front of the refrigerator. I touched my leg, and found that the pain was gone; I was healed. Falun Gong is truly miraculous. Our family has believed in the divine for two generations, yet we have never seen anything this amazing. No matter what others say, I believe in Falun Gong.” I suggested that he also read the Dafa books. He agreed to read them and said he wanted to watch the videos of Master’s lectures, and read various stories that clarify the truth about the practice.

When I saw him again, he happily said he benefited greatly from Dafa. I was genuinely happy for him and the blessings he received from Dafa.

A Man in His 50s Finds a New Life

Another time, I met a man in his 50s at a public square. I learned that he had three children, two daughters and a son, all of whom graduated from college. His son graduated and secured an excellent job, but he lost it after he misread the scheduled reporting time on his mobile phone. Devastated, his son committed suicide by jumping from the 22nd floor. The man could not come to terms with this cruel reality; his mind was constantly filled with thoughts of his son, and he suffered immense anguish. He relied on alcohol every night just to fall asleep. Excessive drinking, combined with other factors, led to a stroke that caused hemiplegia, leaving his left arm weak and his left leg unable to function normally. He had difficulty walking. His right hand clutched his left hand, which shook incessantly; his face was etched with sorrow and helplessness: he was a truly pitiful sight.

Moved by compassion, I clarified the truth about Dafa to him, encouraged him to withdraw from the Young Pioneers he joined, and helped him to withdraw his deceased son from the Youth League and Young Pioneers. I also gave him the audio recordings of Master’s lectures. He promised to listen to them.

A month later, I ran into him in the square. Seeing his furrowed brow had smoothed out, I asked how he was doing. He happily replied, “I’m much better now. During the day, I exercise by walking, and at night, if I’m not sleepy, I listen to the recordings of Master’s lectures.” He said his thoughts were no longer chaotic. He almost let go of his attachment to his son, and his eating and sleeping had improved significantly. He also realized that what happened to his son was not a coincidence. Even more gratifying was that he lifted his left leg, saying joyfully, “I never expected a miracle like this, I can walk normally now. Dafa is truly wonderful. I listen to Master’s Fa-teaching every night, and I thank Master from the bottom of my heart for his immense compassion.”

Seeing yet another life that was saved filled me with indescribable joy and excitement; I personally experienced Master’s immense compassion for all sentient beings. Thank you, Master! Thank you!

Two Women Withdraw From the CCP

Several of us practitioners frequently go out to markets, streets, alleys, and public squares to clarify the truth to people. Once, while a practitioner was clarifying the truth to a woman outside a shop, the woman’s friend refused to listen; she shouted aggressively and criticized us. A practitioner told her, “If you don’t want to listen, don’t cause trouble or disturb others.” That practitioner’s righteous thoughts disintegrated the negative things that manipulated the woman, and she fell silent. The practitioner then explained the truth to the first woman and helped her withdraw from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organizations.

The first woman was saved and happily prepared to leave, but I felt I couldn’t just abandon her companion. She said many negative things; it would be dangerous to leave her. I smiled and said to her, “You strike me as someone who speaks her mind, very straightforward and open.” She happily agreed, “Yes, exactly.” I continued, “I really like your straightforward nature. Given your personality, if you knew the truth, you would surely stand up against injustice and wouldn’t want to see good people persecuted. The Tiananmen Square self-immolation incident was staged. With so many plainclothes police officers in the square, who would dare set a fire there? And who has seen police officers patrolling the square carrying fire extinguishers? Look at how carefully the TV cameras, both distant and close-up, filmed it all. How could they ready? And consider Liu Siying, how could someone with a tracheotomy incision sing so clearly?”

She suddenly understood and exclaimed, “So the self-immolation was a fake!” She immediately agreed to withdraw from the Young Pioneers that she joined. I added, “You simply didn’t know the truth; if you had, you wouldn’t have spoken that way.” She kept saying, “Yes, exactly.”
