(Minghui.org) Greetings, Master! Greetings, fellow practitioners!

Due to my attachment to comfort, I have not written an article for a Falun Dafa conference for more than a decade. One day, a practitioner came to my house and asked me, “The call for submissions for the China Fahui has been issued, are you going to write something?” I did not answer. After the practitioner left, I thought to myself that I wouldn’t write anything.

Two days later, on the morning of August 14, 2026, I had a clear dream. Someone asked me: “Aren’t you going to send a manuscript to save people?” I realized Master was giving me a hint to write an article. I know that Master is right beside me, and knows everything I’m thinking. Every step we take in saving people and true cultivation, is due to Master’s painstaking effort, immeasurable endurance, compassionate arrangement and blessings! When I thought of this, I could not help but shed tears, and I realized I must write about my cultivation experiences.

What Should I Write?

Throughout the many years the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) persecuted Dafa, and under Master’s meticulous arrangement, guidance, and enlightenment, I have persisted in clarifying the truth—whether by mailing truth-clarification materials, making phone calls, or speaking face-to-face to employees in the public security, political, and legal affairs departments. I never once let up. I thought this persistent effort offered three major benefits: First, once these individuals understand the truth, the sentient beings behind them can be saved, and they themselves avoid accumulating negative karma. Second, once they gain this understanding, they are less likely to persecute or interfere with fellow practitioners in the local area as they carry out the work of saving people—or, at the very least, the persecution is mitigated. Third, with less persecution, the environment naturally becomes more relaxed; this encourages more practitioners to step forward, which in turn brings blessings to sentient beings and leads to more of them being saved—all of which is what Master wants.

By studying the Fa extensively and strengthening my righteous thoughts, my efforts have not been in vain. Some public security leaders have come to understand aspects of the truth, and they have even been kind toward Dafa practitioners. I would like to share my experiences of clarifying the truth face-to-face to the local Domestic Security Division officers, as well as sending truth-clarification materials to various entities such as the Municipal Committee, the public security, the procuratorate, and judicial departments, and the Education Bureau (focusing primarily on the Public Security Bureau).

Past Encounters with Local Police

I have to start from the beginning. About ten years ago, while I was talking to people about the persecution, I was seized by someone who did not understand the facts and I was dragged to a local police station. I was held there for the entire morning before I was allowed to return home. Upon arriving home, I discovered that the police confiscated some of my Dafa books.

The following day, I went to the police station to ask the bureau chief to return my Falun Dafa books. The guard at the entrance told me the chief was not in, and I was not permitted to enter his office—nor could I have gotten in even if I tried. I decided to meditate right there in the bureau lobby. I remained seated for about half an hour, yet no one approached or questioned me. Not knowing what else to do, I got up and headed to the back courtyard—I planned to call out the name of the head of the division toward the upper floors. The courtyard was filled with parking spaces, and although there was a door, I could not gain access. Left with no other options, I simply stood there and called out the division head’s name, shouting toward the building above.

Before long, a kind-faced officer came and suggested, “Let’s take a walk and have a talk.” As we walked, I explained to him what Falun Dafa is. He asked many questions, all of which I answered. He chose the pseudonym “Wei Min” (For the People) to renounce his membership in the CCP.

Meanwhile, the division head drove to my home and told my son (my son later recounted to me): “Tell your mother to go home—she shouldn’t be shouting at the building. Here is my phone number. If she ever needs anything, she can call me.” That is how we obtained the division head’s phone number—a contact that proved to be very useful.

On one occasion, the division head and the officer named “Wei Min” visited my home. While the division head stood near the door, “Wei Min” whispered to me that he truly disliked participating in the persecution and asked if I could help him find a different job. I said, “If you continue to secretly protect Dafa practitioners, you will accumulate immense virtue. If you truly wish to leave this line of work, you can also ask Falun Dafa’s Master to help you change your occupation.” That was the last time I saw that officer.

Divinely-Inspired Culture Awakens Kind Thoughts

Once I had his phone number, I called the division head about every two weeks—either to tell him about Falun Dafa or to arrange a meeting after he got off work. He always came whenever I called. Sometimes, when I ran out of things to say and suggested we continue the conversation another time, he would say that he hadn’t heard enough yet.

On one occasion, shortly after five in the evening, I arranged to meet the division head at our usual spot. Three police officers showed up. I gave the head a small portable audio player with content about traditional, divinely-inspired Chinese culture. I said: “This contains the essence of our divinely-inspired culture—something young people today are sorely lacking. The three of you should listen to it. I’m sure you’ll gain some insights.” They took it, listened for a while, and then kept it. They all said, “Thank you!” I said, “Falun Dafa’s Master asks practitioners to tell people the true situation—you should thank him!”

Since I was quite a distance from home and needed to get back to prepare a meal, I prepared to leave. As I headed out, all three officers urged me to be careful. I was quite moved and I thanked them.

Later, word came from within the division that after listening to the recordings, the head gave the device on to the bureau chief. During a meeting, the bureau chief held up the device and said, “People say Falun Dafa is bad, but just listen to this—it’s all about how to be a good person.” One officer stood up and asked, “But what about the pressure from the policies coming down from above?” The bureau chief said, “Can’t you just stall or find a way to put it aside?” I felt this divinely-inspired culture awakened the bureau chief’s innate kindness.

After Suing Jiang

After the wave of filing lawsuits against Jiang, the primary perpetrator of the persecution began, practitioners in our area cooperated with one another. Many put their hearts into the effort—searching online for the proper document formats, making phone calls, typing up and refining the legal complaints against Jiang Zemin, handling the submission process, or coordinating with couriers. One practitioner barely slept and lost several pounds in one month. I had the same experience.

Another practitioner and I traveled to the countryside every day to help local practitioners prepare their complaints against Jiang. Since the journey was long, and to avoid causing any inconvenience to the local practitioners, we bought food and water, and ate and rested briefly in a small grove of trees, and then headed into the village to meet with them. For some of the elderly practitioners who didn’t know how to mail the documents, I arranged for them to come to my home. I brought in a courier to handle the mailing. Most of these complaints eventually received official receipts. Thanks to our collective efforts, ninety percent of the practitioners in our area (a county-level city) participated in filing these complaints.

I later heard that some of the complaints were sent back to our area and were now in the hands of the division head. I called him to ask about it; he denied it. I said, “Please, do not take any action. The cosmic climate has shifted—what can you possibly do? One cannot defy the will of Heaven. You have incurred karmic debt, and Heaven keeps an account. You have parents, a wife, and children—what will happen to them? Just turn a blind eye, it’s enough that you receive your wages. Our Master is compassionate. The lawsuits were filed to expose Jiang’s evil deeds. Don’t bring this trouble upon yourself—you must take responsibility for your own life! In the future, when Falun Dafa is vindicated, if you end up in court, I will personally step forward to serve as your defense attorney. Besides, if you act righteously, Heaven will take note, and you will even be credited with great merit.”

Although the local practitioners used their real names and personal phone numbers when they filed their complaints against Jiang, the local police station took no action, and the practitioners were not persecuted.

After a Materials Production Site Was Undermined

In 2016, police from the local station raided the home of a practitioner who lived in the countryside. They seized her printer, computer, and other items; she managed to escape. Three or four years later, the division head came to me and said ever since that incident he did not pursue the matter, nor had he visited her home. I said, “That’s exactly the right thing to do—truly commendable.” He added, “I’m thinking of paying her a visit in the next few days.” Just as he was about to leave I grabbed his hands. With tears in my eyes, I pleaded, “Please, don’t go! It’s been three or four years—just let it go. Be a good person. Why get involved at all? Just turn a blind eye. As long as you get your paycheck, isn’t that enough? Besides, this practitioner is quite timid; if the pressure of persecution becomes too great, something terrible might happen—and then it would be too late for any regrets.” He smiled and indicated that he wouldn’t go after all. I let go of his hands, and he left.

Ten years have passed since then. He did not go to the practitioner’s home, nor did he pursue the case. She has remained safe and sound. Looking back, I realized—how could I, a woman, have held onto a young man’s hands like that?! Goodness... well, in any case, what matters most is that the practitioner was spared from persecution.

Protecting Dafa Books and Master’s Portrait

Through studying the Fa, I have come to understand that Dafa is compassionate, yet it also has dignity. I will share a few examples.

The division head never took my Dafa books. However, when he was accompanied by other police officers he sometimes felt he had to put on a show so that he demonstrated he was in line with the CCP’s persecution policy. One time, he spotted a copy of Zhuan Falun and picked it up, claiming he wanted to take it home to read it. I suggested he read it right there—it wouldn’t take long—but he insisted on taking it with him. He grabbed the top of the book, and I immediately gripped the bottom. I said sternly: “Let go! If you dare to take my Dafa book today, I will protect it with my life—just try me!” He laughed and let go.

On another occasion, a young police officer—thinking I wasn’t paying attention—snatched a small portrait of Master and hid it behind his back. Without a word, I swiftly retrieved the portrait. “This is my Master, not yours,” I said. “You have no business taking it.” I held the portrait tightly against my chest. They didn’t try anything else, nor did they say another word.

Protecting the List of Those Who Quit the CCP

I was at home organizing a list of over a thousand people who quit the CCP. I had just finished copying the names when someone knocked on the door. Thinking it was a fellow practitioner, I opened it—only to find police officers standing there. My heart tightened. I hurried into the inner room and tried to slide the list under a quilt, but before I could fully cover it, the police entered the room.

The division head saw what I was doing and asked, “What are you doing?” Realizing I couldn’t hide it, I said, “I am copying a list of people who have withdrawn from the CCP.” He said, “Let me see it.”

I said, “I can’t give it to you—you might tear it up.” He insisted on seeing it. I took one of the notebooks I just finished copying and, pointing to each entry, explained, “This page is for those who quit the Party—this page is for those who quit the Youth League.” He was holding the top two corners of the notebook, while I held the bottom two. I said, “Don’t you feel bad to commit so much karma? It seems you really want to take this list.” I added, “Let go! Don’t tear it! Do you have any idea how much effort Dafa practitioners put into this list? It is no small feat to persuade even one person to quit! These represent the lives of sentient beings!” He smiled and let go.

The list remained safe. Thank you, Master, for granting me wisdom and courage!

Stopping the Police from Doing Bad Deeds

Ever since the CCP began to persecute Falun Dafa I used a phone number registered under someone else’s name. The village officials back in my hometown claimed my records were incomplete. This prevented me from receiving my old-age pension, and they insisted that I use a phone number registered in my own name. Left with no other choice, I registered a mobile number in my name two years ago. Four days later, as it was raining outside and I couldn’t go out to clarify the truth, I used this phone to call practitioners from my local Fa-study group, inviting them over to study the Fa. They arrived at 8:00 a.m.

Before 9:00 a.m, the division head of the Domestic Security Division, accompanied by two other police officers, forced their way into my home. My first thought was that my phone must have been wiretapped. Upon entering, he demanded, “What are you doing here?” I said, “Studying the Fa.” Seeing that there were four of us, he asked, “Who told you to study the Fa?” I said, “Didn’t you say that we could study and practice at home?” He then said, “Except for you, the other three are coming with me.” I sprang up and said, “Let’s see who dares to take anyone away today! There is nothing wrong with studying the Fa but even if there was, the fault would be mine. I was the one who invited them here. If you’re going to take anyone, take me—but you are not to touch any of the other three.”

They laughed, sat down, and said, “People keep talking about live organ harvesting but look at us, is anyone here missing any parts?” I answered, “The staff at your bureau are kinder and still have some conscience. But if you were to actually persecute a Dafa practitioner to death, have you considered whether you and your colleagues would not receive repercussions? The principles of Heaven are fair.”

Writing Letters to Law Enforcement Officers

I felt compelled to tell individuals working within the public security, procuratorial, and judicial systems the facts about the persecution. I believe this was Master’s arrangement. Just as I decided to write these letters the COVID pandemic began, and I was confined to my home. I spent my mornings studying the Fa and my afternoons writing the letters—a process that took nearly two months to complete.

Given my limited formal education, I sometimes struggled with how to express things, but with Master’s guidance and inspiration, I was able to finish the task. For instance, when I was writing about how Jiang Zemin had no authority to “make” laws, a thought suddenly entered my mind: “It’s legislating.” I immediately realized this was a prompt from Master, and I was deeply moved.

I drafted various types of letters. I have an objective in mind when I write, that is to see things from the perspective of the recipients, making sure that the compassion and dignity of Dafa are conveyed. After reading one of my letters, a practitioner said, “Not a single word too many, nor a single word too few.” I am truly grateful for Master’s help!

I wrote twenty letters, each ten pages long, all penned by my own hand. The recipients included the local municipal Party secretary, the director of the Education Bureau, the director of the Public Security Bureau, the secretary of the Political and Legal Affairs Commission, the chief and deputy chief of the Domestic Security Division, as well as the heads of the local police stations in each township.

Twists and Turns in Sending Letters

After I finished writing the letters, I set out to mail them. I started at the main post office, where I also took the opportunity to explain what is Falun Dafa to the postal worker; he was quite sympathetic. I mailed over a dozen letters there, but thinking that was too many for one location, I decided to take the remaining two to a smaller post office. At the smaller branch, I began by clarifying the truth to the clerk. As he processed the mail, he made some unpleasant remarks and even went outside to check the license plate number of my vehicle. I felt a little uneasy. Once the mailing procedures were complete, I headed home. Just as I reached my doorstep, I turned around to see several police officers. The division head said, “Come with us.” Realizing something was wrong, I said, “I can go with you, but I have to return by noon to prepare lunch.” They took me to the local police station in a patrol car. The division head was nowhere to be seen—it turned out he had gone to my home to conduct a search.

The officer interrogating me told me to sit in the chair meant for criminals. I protested: “I haven’t committed a crime. Why should I sit in a prisoner’s chair?” He then brought over a small stool for me to sit on. Holding up the two letters, he asked, “Did you mail these? Who told you to send them? And what is the purpose of these letters?” I explained, “I mailed them. With the pandemic spreading, I was worried you might lose your precious lives—so I wanted to tell you how you can survive this catastrophe.” He said, “You’re quite something! How many days did it take you to copy out these letters? They’re written so formally.” I said, “If I want you to be saved, I must first show you respect. I want you to read them so you can be saved.” In my heart, I prayed that the dozen or so letters I mailed earlier would all reach their destinations—otherwise, all my hard work over the past few weeks would have been in vain.

A short while later, the division head returned and drove me back home. About five or six days later, he approached my son and asked, “Did your mother send out more letters?” My son realized then that all those earlier letters had successfully reached their recipients. He said, “They were all mailed at the same time as the others.” And with that, the matter was dropped.

Retrieving My Dafa Books

This follows from what I said earlier. While I was being held at the local police station because I mailed truth-clarification materials, the division head decided to search my home. He summoned my son—who was at work—to come home and open the door for them. By my bedside, there was a large cardboard box containing dozens of Dafa books and about a hundred flyers titled “A Letter to Those with a Predestined Relationship.” Being somewhat naive, it never occurred to me that mailing these letters could lead to such trouble. I hadn’t bothered to hide them, so the captain and his team confiscated everything. I was overcome with such regret that I wept uncontrollably and I was unable to eat or sleep.

The next day, before the division head and his team had even arrived at work, I called him. Looking inward, I chose not to blame them. I said, “It’s entirely my fault. With a whole box of books sitting right there in plain sight, how could the five of you possibly leave them? If you hadn’t taken them, it would have made your job difficult, wouldn’t it? I’m calling today because I want my books back. If you return them, you will be performing a virtuous deed of great merit—Heaven will surely record a great credit for you. If you can’t return them, I won’t hold it against you; however, please tell the police chief that starting tomorrow, I will go and stay at the Public Security Bureau. If the books are there, I will be there. If the books are gone, then I will leave. As a Dafa practitioner, if I cannot even protect the Dafa books, how could I ever face the Master who has saved me?” I said this through bitter, sorrowful tears. I added, “If a monk loses his scriptures, how can he possibly continue cultivating?! In any case, I have no appetite and cannot sleep. At this point, life and death no longer matter to me.” He said, “Don’t do anything rash—let me see what I can do. Tell your son to wait at home.” He then asked me to pass the phone to my son so he could say a few words.

At three o'clock that afternoon, the division head called my son and asked him to come downstairs. My son returned, happily carrying the large box of books—even the hundred-plus truth-clarification fliers had been returned. I asked, “Did you thank them?” My son said he had. I smiled happily. It was as Master said, “Cultivation is up to the individual, while the transformation of gong is up to the Master.” (Zhuan Falun).

The Bureau Chief’s Kindness

Not long after this, I received a typed letter. It passed through several cities before it was sent to a practitioner in my area, who then delivered it to me. The letter explained that a man from a village neighboring my hometown was serving as the Public Security Bureau chief in another city. Acting under his orders, more than a dozen Dafa practitioners had been arrested, and several were subsequently sentenced. Since the practitioner specifically asked me to reach out to him and explain the facts about Dafa, I took this as an assignment from Master. I copied out a draft of a truth-clarification letter from one I previously used and I mailed it to the Public Security Bureau chief in that city.

About ten days later, the division head came to my home and said, “Isn’t causing trouble here in town enough for you? Now you’re stirring things up in other cities, too!” I said, “I didn’t go there. I simply sent a letter explaining the truth behind the persecution. The bureau chief is a fellow townsman of ours—how could we just sit by and watch him accumulate such grave karmic debt? Shouldn’t we try to save him?” He said, “That chief came here yesterday with five or six men to arrest you, but our bureau chief stopped them.” I said, “Please pass on my thanks to the bureau chief when you see him, and I thank you as well. The eyes of the Divine are like lightning—Heaven has just credited you both with a major meritorious deed!”

Final Thoughts

I believe that as a practitioner, we should act according to the standards for practitioners and in accordance with Master’s requirements. As long as our actions align with the Fa and with Master’s requirements, letting go of personal attachments, letting go of attachment to life and death, and thinking of the well-being of all sentient beings, Dafa will give us wisdom, courage, and the strength to succeed, and Master will make sure we are safe.

It is my greatest honor to be Master’s student—a Falun Dafa practitioner—in this lifetime. I will continue to be diligent: study the Fa well, cultivate myself, do the three things well and save more sentient beings to repay Master’s boundless grace. Thank you, Master! Thank you fellow practitioners for your mutual support, cooperation, and encouragement.
