(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 10 cities or counties in 6 provinces, where at least 18 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

6. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Five Practitioners Sentenced to Prison
7. [Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province] Ms. Dong Meizhen and Ms. Guo Xiuli Detained
8. [Mian County, Shaanxi Province] Ms. Du Mengyu Arrested
9. [Xiaogan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Yan Jingu Faces Indictment

1. [Shenze County, Hebei Province] Mr. Liu Yupeng Officially Arrested

Mr. Liu Yupeng has been held in the Shenze County Detention Center since his arrest on September 28, 2026. He has been issued an arrest warrant.

2. [Xingtai City, Hebei Province] Ms. Wang Lihua Officially Arrested

Ms. Wang Lihua was arrested by officers from the Liuhan Police Station and the Yongnian Domestic Security Division, while she was talking to people about Falun Gong. She is detained at the Handan City Third Detention Center and has been issued an arrest warrant.

3. [Laiyuan County, Hebei Province] Mr. Guo Yutian and Ms. Wu Guilian Arrested

Mr. Guo Yutian was arrested in September 2026 and has been detained since. The police have submitted his case to the local procuratorate.

Ms. Wu Guilian, 74, was arrested on the street by officers from the Laiyuan Town Police Station on October 15, 2026. She was taken to the Laiyuan County Domestic Security Division, where the officers collected her fingerprints, forced her to stand barefoot in a metal tray, and photographed her. Three officers subsequently took her back home, ransacked the place, and confiscated her Falun Gong books and photos of the founder of Falun Gong. They then took her back to the Domestic Security Division. She was released at around 8 p.m.

4. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Three Practitioners Abused in Prison

Mr. Zhang Guozhi, Mr. Shi Wenzhuo, and Mr. Ji Hui were subjected to abuse in Gongzhuling Prison. They were forced to sit on small stools every day from morning until 8:30 p.m. without any breaks.

5. [Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Song Yaping Held in Custody

Ms. Song Yaping, 64, was arrested by officers from the Jinhua Police Station at the morning market on June 15, 2026. The officers ransacked her home and confiscated her Falun Gong books, cell phone, tablet, and other belongings. She was initially taken to the Jinhua Police Station, and was later released on bail due to poor health. She was arrested again in September 2026 and has since been held in the Jinzhou City Women’s Detention Center.

6. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Five Practitioners Sentenced to Prison

Ms. Dai Wenmei was sentenced to nine months in prison and was transferred to Shandong Province Women’s Prison on February 25, 2026.

Ms. Lu Fenghua was arrested and had her home ransacked on March 18, 2025. She was sentenced to three years in prison and has been transferred to Shandong Province Women’s Prison.

Ms. Pan Yuelan, 92, was sentenced to 15 months in prison. She was released at the end of April 2026 upon completing her term.

Ms. Jia Quanmei was sentenced to 12 months in prison. She was released in March 2026 upon completing her term.

Ms. Cui Ying was sentenced to one year and six months in prison. She was released in September 2026 upon completing her term.

7. [Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province] Ms. Dong Meizhen and Ms. Guo Xiuli Detained

Ms. Dong Meizhen, in her 80s, and Ms. Guo Xiuli, around 70, were arrested by officers from the Shangzhuang Police Station on October 7, 2026, while they were distributing Falun Gong materials. Their homes were ransacked. They are currently being held in the Shijiazhuang City Second Detention Center.

8. [Mian County, Shaanxi Province] Ms. Du Mengyu Arrested

Ms. Du Mengyu was arrested around October 14, 2026. Her whereabouts are currently unknown.

9. [Xiaogan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Yan Jingu Faces Indictment

Ms. Yan Jingu’s case was submitted to the Xiaonan District Procuratorate around September 10, 2026, by officers from the Chengdong Police Station.

10. [Xintai City, Shandong Province] Mr. Yue Longhua Detained

Mr. Yue Longhua has been transferred from the Xintai Detention Center to the Dongping County Detention Center.
