(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 9 cities or counties in 5 provinces, where at least 14 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.
1. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Ms. Liu Qiuyue Facing Indictment
2. [Hegang City, Heilongjiang Province] Three Practitioners Sentenced to Prison
3. [Dingxing County, Hebei Province] Mr. Li Yaohai and Li Rui Arrested
4. [Xishui County, Hubei Province] Ms. Tao Xuemei Detained
5. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Ms. Zhang Ping Detained
6. [Benxi City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Song Yuegang Detained
7. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Three Practitioners Arrested
8. [Xinji City, Hebei Province] Ms. Yuan Hongqiao Harassed
9. [Baoding City, Hebei Province] Ms. Wang Hongying Arrested
1. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Ms. Liu Qiuyue Facing Indictment
The case against Ms. Liu Qiuyue was submitted to the local procuratorate in early October 2026.
2. [Hegang City, Heilongjiang Province] Three Practitioners Sentenced to Prison
Ms. Meng Guilong, Ms. Zhou Yuqin, and Mr. Liu Qingfu were recently sentenced to prison. Ms. Meng was sentenced to three years in prison; Mr. Liu was sentenced to three years and two months in prison and fined 5000 yuan. Ms. Zhou’s prison term is unclear.
3. [Dingxing County, Hebei Province] Mr. Li Yaohai and Li Rui Arrested
Mr. Li Yaohai was arrested by Beihe Town Police Station officers on September 10, 2026. His home was ransacked. He was released later that day.
Li Rui, gender unknown, was arrested on October 16, 2026. Li’s home was ransacked. Li was released in the afternoon.
4. [Xishui County, Hubei Province] Ms. Tao Xuemei Detained
Ms. Tao Xuemei was arrested by Sanhua Town Police Station officers in mid-September 2026. Her home was ransacked. She was detained for 15 days and released on October 1.
5. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Ms. Zhang Ping Detained
Ms. Zhang Ping was arrested by plainclothes officers on October 16, 2026. Her home was ransacked. She is currently held at the Weifang City Lockup.
6. [Benxi City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Song Yuegang Detained
Mr. Song Yuegang, 45, was arrested on October 19, 2026. He is currently detained at the Benxi City Detention Center.
7. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Three Practitioners Arrested
Ms. Wu Guanglan, 85, her daughter, Ms. Wang Lijun, 62, and Ms. Lei, 72 and first name unknown, were reported to the police for talking to people about Falun Gong on October 11, 2026. They were all arrested on October 19, 2026. Ms. Wu and her daughter’s shared residence was ransacked. The police confiscated the Falun Gong books, media players, and the information materials about Falun Gong.
Ms. Wu was released later that day. Ms. Wang and Ms. Lei were placed under a 10-day detention.
8. [Xinji City, Hebei Province] Ms. Yuan Hongqiao Harassed
Ms. Yuan Hongqiao was harassed at home by officers from the Nanzhiqiu Police Station in late August or early September 2026. The police confiscated several Falun Gong books.
9. [Baoding City, Hebei Province] Ms. Wang Hongying Arrested
Ms. Wang Hongying was arrested on October 20, 2026. Her home was ransacked by officers from the Xianfeng Police Station and Jingxiu District Domestic Security Office. The police confiscated a dozen of Falun Gong books, two MP4 players, a laptop, two photos of Falun Gong’s founder, and a Falun emblem.
