1. [Linqing City, Shandong Province] Ms. Zhu Lanmei Detained
2. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Police Show Up to Harass Ms. Zou, Her Husband Dies Shortly After
3. [Fuxin City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Geng Lijuan Sentenced to Three Years in Prison
4. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Hu Chunyuan Detained
1. [Linqing City, Shandong Province] Ms. Zhu Lanmei Detained
Ms. Zhu Lanmei was arrested on February 11, 2026. She is currently held at the Liaocheng City Detention Center.
2. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Police Show Up to Harass Ms. Zou, Husband Dies Shortly After
Several police officers broke into the home of 76-year-old Ms. Zou on January 16, 2026, to harass her. She wasn’t home, but her husband, who had a heart condition, was. Terrified by the police, he died shortly after. The police fled.
3. [Fuxin City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Geng Lijuan Sentenced to Three Years in Prison
Ms. Geng Lijuan was sentenced to three years in prison on March 12, 2025, after she was reported by villagers Fu Yatao and Du Zhanxian. Fu and Du worked with the police to fabricate evidence against Ms. Geng.
4. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Hu Chunyuan Detained
Ms. Hu Chunyuan, 60, was arrested by officers from the Nanguan District Police Department on January 8, 2026, for distributing informational materials about Falun Gong. She was initially placed under a 15-day administration detention. However, on January 23, 2026, the police refused to release her and put her under criminal detention.
