Additional Persecution News from China – July 4, 2026 (7 Reports)

(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 6 cities or counties in 5 provinces, where at least 15 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

1. [Muling City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Zhou Xiuzhen Detained
2. [Da’an City, Jilin Province] Ms. Geng Jiqiu Sentenced to Five Years in Prison
3. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Five Practitioners Harassed
4. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Ms. Liu Zhiqing Facing Indictment
5. [Jinan City, Shandong Province] Ms. Zhao Yuhuan and Mr. Gao Zhaoyong Detained
6. [Shouguang City, Shandong Province] Four Practitioners Harassed
7. [Panjin City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Wang Ying Detained

1. [Muling City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Zhou Xiuzhen Detained

Ms. Zhou Xiuzhen’s home was ransacked by the police on June 29, 2026. They confiscated her Falun Gong books, photo of Falun Gong’s founder, paper bills printed with Falun Gong information, and her computer and printer. They police revealed that they had been following Ms. Zhou for a while. She was summoned to the police station on July 1 and was arrested upon arrival.

2. [Da’an City, Jilin Province] Ms. Geng Jiqiu Sentenced to Five Years in Prison

Ms. Geng Jiqiu was arrested on June 3, 2025, for distributing informational materials about Falun Gong. She was later sentenced to five years in prison and fined 10,000 yuan. She has been transferred from the Baicheng City Detention Center to the Jilin Province Women’s Prison.

3. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Five Practitioners Harassed

Four practitioners were harassed by Nanfan Police Station officers around late June 2026. They are Ms. Wang Cuilan, her husband Mr. Zhang Tielai, Ms. Geng Caixia, and Ms. Liu Xiurong.

Ms. Wang Xiuyun was harassed by Tangjiazhuang Police Station officers. They attempted to take a blood sample from her.

4. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Ms. Liu Zhiqing Facing Indictment

Ms. Liu Zhiqing had her bag searched by Cunliji Town Police Station officers when she was at the Cunliji Town Market in December 2025. Although they only found 10 copies of Falun Gong-related materials, they falsely claimed it to be 200 copies. Ms. Liu is now facing indictment by the Penglai District Procuratorate.

5. [Jinan City, Shandong Province] Ms. Zhao Yuhuan and Mr. Gao Zhaoyong Detained

Ms. Zhao Yuhuan and her husband, Mr. Gao Zhaoyong, were arrested at home by Puji Town Police Station officers on April 25, 2026. The police ransacked their home and confiscated a printer and other personal belongings. Mr. Gao was released in June 2026 and Ms. Zhao is still detained.

6. [Shouguang City, Shandong Province] Four Practitioners Harassed

Ms. Guo Xiuqing was harassed at home on June 4 and June 25, 2026, by officers from the Jitai Police Station. They took photos of her without her permission.

Ms. Fu Huazhi’s family received two harassing calls from the Jianqiao Township Police Station around June 24, 2026.

The Jianqiao Township Police Station officers went to Ms. Wang Jinhua’s home on June 24, 2026. She wasn’t in. Her family was forced to fingerprint a document.

Ms. Sang Fengqin was harassed at home by Wenjia Township Police Station officers in March 2026 and again around June 24, 2026.

7. [Panjin City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Wang Ying Detained

Ms. Wang Ying was arrested around June 15, 2026, for taking down a poster slandering Falun Gong in a park. She was detained for 17 days and released on July 2.
