Senator Ted Cruz: Live Organ Harvesting Is a Horrific Human Rights Atrocity
In a recent interview, Senator Ted Cruz said, “For decades the Communist Party of China has been engaged in horrific human rights atrocities against Falun Gong. The CCP fears the Falun Gong, its beliefs, and religious freedom in general. These attacks should have ended long ago, and the United States should take decisive action to stop it now.”

Rep. French Hill Condemns Live Organ Harvesting by the CCP
Congressman and Arkansas 2nd District Republican member French Hill issued a statement reaffirming his support for Falun Gong practitioners and condemned the CCP for its severe human rights violations, including the prolonged persecution of Falun Gong, live organ harvesting and transnational repression. He also said he will continue to push for accountability from the CCP and defend religious freedom.

Congressman Hill wrote: “I write to you as an outspoken supporter of religious freedom and religious liberty. Today, I reaffirm my strong support for Falun Gong practitioners and commemorate the decade of resistance against the Chinese Communist Party’s brutal campaign of persecution targeting this peaceful spiritual movement.
“Religious liberty is a fundamental principle of America’s domestic and foreign policy. Since I came to Congress, I have been steadfast in calling on other nations to protect religious minorities and religious liberties. Today, you are gathered as we confront a brutal reality: Globally, people of devout faith and spiritual beliefs are often not respected, well accepted, or understood. People around the world face persecution for practicing their faith and spiritual beliefs every day.
“The spiritual movement of Falun Gong has been attacked by the Chinese Communist Party for decades. That is unacceptable. Millions of Falun Gong practitioners have been subjected to detention, torture, and forced organ harvesting simply because they are part of the Falun Gong spiritual movement. These barbaric crimes shock the conscience and demand a clear and unified response from the global community. This should not and will not be tolerated.
Congressman Hill continued, “That is why I co-sponsored H.R, 1154, the Stop Forced Organ Harvesting Act, during the 118th Congress. This legislation would have imposed sanctions on those who fund or facilitate this horrific practice and would have improved enforcement against human trafficking tied to the organ trade.
“Protection for Falun Gong is not only a Chinese issue. It is a matter of basic human rights.”
Congressman Hill also wrote, “The Chinese Communist Party’s transnational repression reaches beyond China’s borders and has targeted groups like Shen Yun and Falun Gong practitioners even here in the United States, including Arkansas. This also should not and will not be tolerated.
He said, “Faced with the CCP’s relentless and high-pressure persecution, Falun Gong practitioners have consistently upheld the spirit of peace, compassion, and sincerity, demonstrating extraordinary courage and perseverance.
“I commend you for your tireless efforts in exposing the CCP’s atrocities and for continuously raising international awareness of the truth about the persecution. Your significant efforts also bring hope to those who are still suffering persecution.
“I am deeply inspired by Falun Gong practitioners’ unwavering commitment to their beliefs and their pursuit of justice. The anti-persecution rally held that day at the National Mall in Washington D.C once again united voices from across the country, calling for an end to the persecution and the upholding of justice.
“I will continue to stand with you, continue to push for accountability of the Chinese Communist Party.”

Member of Congress Young Kim: Strongly Condemn Transnational Repression by the CCP
California Congresswoman Young Kim recently delivered a video address on human rights and freedom of religion, expressing her deep respect for Falun Gong practitioners who have suffered persecution by the CCP for 27 years. In her recording, Kim strongly condemned the regime’s continued suppression of religious groups and reiterated her commitment to using legislation and policy to vigorously promote sanctions against serious human rights violations such as forced organ harvesting.

Kim said “Under the rule of the CCP leadership, in order to maintain absolute control, the Beijing authorities not only illegally imprison and persecute Falun Gong practitioners within the country, but also extend its transnational suppression overseas and to the United States.
“Even here in the United States, Beijing threatens to censor Shen Yun and targets innocent Falun Gong practitioners with harassment and intimidation.”
She said she supports the Falun Gong Protection Act to sanction the individuals and entities that are responsible for forced organ harvesting in China. “As chairwoman of the House Foreign Affairs Subcommittee on East Asia and the Pacific, and also as a member of the Select Committee on the CCP, and as a Korean American with relatives who defected from North Korea, I know firsthand what it means to live under and to escape authoritarian rule.
