Munich, Germany: Practitioners Inform the Public About the CCP’s Persecution

July 30, 2026 |   By Minghui correspondent Dexiang in Munich, Germany

(Minghui.org) Practitioners held events on Sendlinger Strasse and on Rotkreuzplatz in Munich on two Saturdays, July 11 and 18, 2026. They informed people about Falun Gong and the 27-year persecution by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).

Dr. Jonas Geissler, member of the German Bundestag, issued a letter supporting practitioners’ efforts in exposing the persecution. A local radio station reporter in Munich conducted interviews on July 18, and said they hoped more people would learn about the issue through their report.

Member of German Bundestag: Human Dignity Cannot Be Violated

Dr. Jonas Geissler, a member of the Bundestag who serves on the Committee on Human Rights and Humanitarian Aid, wrote in his letter that the during the CCP’s persecution of Falun Gong, the victims, human rights organizations, and international observers have continued to reveal the intimidation, detention, torture, and the most serious, interference with freedom of religion and conscience.

“No one should suffer persecution for their religious belief, spiritual practice, or inner faith. The human dignity cannot be violated. This basic principle is not only applicable to Germany or Europe, but universally applicable, including Chinese citizens. As a Christian Democrat, I extremely care about freedom of religion and faith, because this is a universal human right. No country has the right to suppress simply because people want to peacefully meditate, uphold their faith, or live according to moral convictions,” he wrote.

At the end of his letter, he expressed sympathy and solidarity with the victims and their families.

“More People Should Follow These Principles”

Retailer Nico Matusch saw the event and went to the information booth to sign the petition. He said, “I think this is infuriating. The (CCP) government not only strongly opposes and persecutes those peaceful practitioners who only want to hold fast to their beliefs, but also steals their organs. I absolutely cannot accept this.” “If simply signing the petition can be helpful, then of course I am happy to do it.”

Mr. Matusch said this was not the first time he’d seen practitioner events. He said the name “Falun Dafa” appealed to him very much.

He said the event was “honestly speaking, wonderful. It gives people a sense of reassurance. They can also clarify some things here. I think they are doing great.”

He also appreciated Falun Gong’s principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance. “Without a doubt, these are all very important principles. More people should follow these principles in life,” he said.

He said upon learning that the CCP does not allow people to believe in Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance, “This really makes you speechless. It is absolutely terrible. I hope all this can come to an end. It absolutely must stop.”

Local Reporter: “I Have Deep Respect for Them”

The event caught the attention of Georg, a reporter from a radio station in Munich, who spent a long time speaking with and interviewing practitioners. He said he found the atmosphere there “great, and that is why I came here.”

He praised the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance, “These principles can be found in various religions as well. I believe that we all worship the same God. God is perhaps looking down at us right now.”

He said the efforts to expose the CCP’s forced organ harvesting from practitioners are very important. “Many things displayed here are truly unbelievable. In fact, I think what is very important is for other people to know about what they are displaying here. Because extracting other people’s organs and potentially killing them is an extremely scary thing.

“This is too scary. I am a Christian and I find it completely unacceptable,” he said. He believes that Germany’s current approach of focusing more on economic interests while ignoring human rights was highly inadvisable and represented moral decay. “We have lost our direction. Germany is being destroyed,” he said. “There is a giant global plan operating that we cannot see.”

Georg added, “I have deep respect for them, because everybody is taking a risk. Whenever someone stands up and sticks to their own viewpoints, no matter what they are for, I admire them from the bottom of my heart. But I have even more respect for those who dare to express their thoughts, defend their faith, and seek nothing in return.”

Middle School Students Sign the Petition

Middle school students Pepe and Simon spoke with practitioners and said they would think about it. After an hour, they returned to the booth to sign the petition.

They both said they enjoyed the event atmosphere. Simon found it beautiful and said it brought peace. Pepe said, “I completely agree.”

Regarding the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance, Simon said, “All three of them are benevolent. Benevolence is the highest frequency and the best way of living.” Pepe agreed.

“It is scary that they are being persecuted. It is not new that people are persecuted for doing the right thing, because they (the CCP) want to control people to the greatest extent possible. If people do not follow or listen to them, they will want to kill you. This is very scary,” Simon said.

Pepe said, “Exactly. I think it is too scary and horrible to ban Falun Gong and subject them to capture and persecution because they pursue peace.”

They both shared their thoughts on forced organ harvesting. Simon said, “It is so scary to hear about something like this. Of course, it is evil and horrible to deprive people of their peace. If this is true, I’m very happy to do it [sign the petition to stop forced organ harvesting].

“I think what is happening in China is morbid. Truly scary,” said Pepe. “This [signing the petition] is easy to do, and no donations are required. Truly great.”

“It is Truly Peaceful Here”

Tour guide Leon said after seeing the event at Rotkreuzplatz, “I just came from the city center. It is truly peaceful here, just like a small oasis, because there are people meditating here. I felt it [energy] right away.”

Leon said he frequently sees practitioners holding information day events. He signed the petition to support the practitioners’ efforts to expose the persecution. “I’m very familiar with this entire topic. I think it is great to do it this way. I appreciate their contributions,” he said. He mentioned that he was aware that Falun Gong is part of traditional Chinese culture and is being persecuted by the CCP.

Regarding how Falun Gong was initially practiced by millions, he said, “This is outstanding. It grew rapidly, then they [the CCP banned it] with a snap.”

Leon said he was completely moved by the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance. “I think it would be wonderful if people could live according to these principles. This is indisputable and clear. Because of that, this persecution, forced organ harvesting, etc., seem so absurd and ridiculous,” he said.

A woman stopped to watch the practitioners’ exercise demonstration at Rotkreuzplatz. “I just moved to Munich from Füssen yesterday and I encountered this practice today. This is great,” she said.

She said that she was interested in qigong, but had yet to find a good one. She said she felt good energy today and felt at peace. She was happy to learn that Falun Gong is taught free of charge. She asked where the exercise site in Munich was, and she also signed the petition.
