(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 6 cities or counties in 6 provinces, where at least 14 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

1. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Ms. Xun Jianhua Facing Trial
2. [Fengshun County, Guangdong Province] Ms. Huang Chaniang Detained
3. [Nan County, Hunan Province] Ms. Zeng Zheng and Ms. Tang Chaohui Arrested
4. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Six Practitioners Arrested
5. [Hanzhong City, Shaanxi Province] Ms. Wang Naiwen and Ms. Liu Lianying Harassed
6. [Qingyuan County, Liaoning Province] Ms. Xin Kui Released from Prison

1. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Ms. Xun Jianhua Facing Trial

Ms. Xun Jianhua was reported to the police for distributing informational materials about Falun Gong when she visited her daughter in Jinan City on December 7, 2025. She was arrested at home by Ping’an Police Station officers on February 10, 2026. She was detained for 18 days and released on bail.

The police later submitted Ms. Xun’s case to the Changqing District Procuratorate in Jinan. She was indicted at an unknown time and was scheduled to stand trial at the Changqing District Court on August 19, 2026.

2. [Fengshun County, Guangdong Province] Ms. Huang Chaniang Detained

Ms. Huang Chaniang was arrested on August 5, 2026, and taken to the Meizhou City Detention Center.

3. [Nan County, Hunan Province] Ms. Zeng Zheng and Ms. Tang Chaohui Arrested

Ms. Zeng Zheng and Ms. Tang Chaohui were videotaped by the surveillance cameras when putting up information about Falun Gong. They were arrested in early August 2026. Ms. Tang was released a day later. Ms. Zeng’s home was ransacked; her current status is unclear.

4. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Six Practitioners Arrested

Mr. Zhan Guangmin, in his 80s, was arrested at home on July 20, 2026. The police confiscated several flash drives, a media player, a computer and a printer. He suffered an acute medical condition en route to the Xingcheng Police Station and was released.

On the same day, five other practitioners were also arrested: Ms. Zhou, 87; Mr. Yu and his wife, Ms. Wang; Mr. Yang; and Ms. Tian, in her 80s. Ms. Tian and Mr. Yang have been released, but the status of the other practitioners is unknown.

5. [Hanzhong City, Shaanxi Province] Ms. Wang Naiwen and Ms. Liu Lianying Harassed

Ms. Wang Naiwan, in her late 70s, was harassed at home by two officers from the Beiguan Police Station on July 22, 2026. The police confiscated the Falun Gong books and computer.

Ms. Liu Lianying, also in her late 70s, was also harassed at home on July 23, 2026, by chief of the Beiguan Police Station and five other officers. The police confiscated some DVDs, paper bills with information about Falun Gong printed on them, and a media player. They attempted, unsuccessfully, to force her to sign statements to renounce Falun Gong.

6. [Qingyuan County, Liaoning Province] Ms. Xin Kui Released from Prison

Ms. Xin Kui was sentenced to eight months in prison in Meihekou City, Jilin Province. She has been released on July 19, 2026.
