(Minghui.org) “When I saw you in Eforie Nord last year, I was impressed by how you sincerely explained what [Falun Dafa] is about, and your smiles. I am happy to see that there are such motivated people,” said Ana-Maria, a psychology student, on August 9, 2026, when she saw that Falun Dafa practitioners had returned to her hometown.
She said this was the second time she’s seen Falun Dafa practitioners in Eforie-Nord—a place that practitioners visit every year during the summer months. Their information booths on Romania’s coasts attract vacationers, and many people have tried the Falun Dafa exercises as a way to relax and find peace.
From July 26 to August 11, practitioners held activities in the resort towns of Constanța, Eforie Nord, Costinești, and Mangalia to share Falun Dafa’s values and to tell people how the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) persecutes Falun Dafa.

Many people recognized the importance of the values promoted by Falun Dafa—Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance—as essential for the existence of humanity and they expressed their support for the practitioners’ right to practice their faith. Some people signed the petition to the G7+7 countries to stop the persecution.

Ana-Maria was happy to see the practitioners once again in Eforie Nord, and she said seeing them reminded her of the importance of living positively and improving her character.
“The most important thing would be to change ourselves, and we would be much happier, much more fulfilled, but at the same time it would be an enormous change for those around us, and we would change the world we live in,” she said.
She said that people should apply Falun Dafa’s guiding principles: Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance to their lives, and it’s important to learn about Falun Dafa. “This information is very useful,” said Ana-Maria. “It doesn’t hurt anyone to find out what the benefits are, I recommend it to everyone.”
She signed the practitioners’ petition, and urged others to do the same and do their own research about the persecution. “[The persecution is] very painful, and I associate this with genocide. It’s really painful to hear that these things are happening for no real reason, that simple people, without having made any huge mistake, are paying with their lives. We should oppose this. I encourage all people to sign the petition,” she said.
She encouraged practitioners: “Continue your work. It is very important what you are doing, and very inspiring at the same time.”
Alisia Popescu talked to practitioners in Eforie Nord on August 9, 2026. (Minghui.org)
Alisia Popescu, who lives in Eforie Nord, said it was amazing that news of Falun Dafa and the persecution reached her hometown, which was so far from China. She commended the practitioners’ efforts.
“It is something that cannot be achieved so easily, especially now, when almost everyone is on the internet and doesn’t really pay attention to what is happening in real life,” she said. “Each of us should pay attention to what you are doing.
“I’m glad that there are people who are really taking a stand, and not just saying that something is happening that is not good, but no one is doing anything. Little by little, this [persecution] will definitely change.”
Popescu also believes that the values of Falun Dafa and the concept of self-cultivation according to those values is useful to society. “Each of us, by making a change, can change something bigger in the end,” she said. “Every person should consider [the values of Falun Dafa] and try to respect them as much as possible, but the attitude comes from each person first.”
Alisia hopes that the Chinese people will also become aware and take the initiative for change to protect Falun Dafa practitioners. “It’s sad that some people who are innocent and have done nothing wrong are being persecuted and there’s no change being made and no stance being taken about it [in China]. Let’s hope that something will change and this whole thing will end,” she said.

Elena Șerbănescu, a retired teacher from Constanța, strongly expressed her support for Falun Dafa’s guiding principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance and said they were important for humanity.
“I love these values. Otherwise, humanity will not move forward. As we see, many steps are being taken backwards, and this is due to influences and tendencies,” she said.
She was appalled by the brutal treatment of Falun Dafa practitioners by the CCP. “It chilled me, filled me with revolt. I cannot be indifferent, I cannot renounce what is human, what is just and beautiful, and especially the life that the Creator gave us and which we have no right to mock,” said Șerbănescu.
She said that she admired the practitioners in China who persevere in their faith, and hopes that they continue to follow their beliefs. “I hope they find enough support, both followers and practitioners, and everything they need, and may God be with them and help them,” she said.
Cătălin Tudor talked with practitioners in Constanța on August 11, 2026. (Minghui.org)
Cătălin Tudor, a pensioner from Bucharest, said that Falun Dafa’s values are “basic principles that serve for every breath on this earth, every person who passes through this Earth must affirm themselves through these qualities.
“What you are doing here seems extraordinary to me, because I am a lover of movement, of truth especially. By following these principles, society would be better,” he said.
Tudor believes that the influence of the CCP’s ideology and abuses globally is a huge danger to humanity, and hopes that practitioners’ peaceful efforts will thwart this danger.
“It’s very painful, I’ve never been for persecution, terror, and [the CCP’s] organ harvesting has already reached inhumane levels to hellish levels. I wish your colleagues much success and I hope that all this misery will disappear, otherwise humanity will disappear. That’s what I wish with all my heart.”
Bogdan Strâmbeanu, a bartender in Agigea, believes that man is naturally good, and goodness reflects the truth, compassion and tolerance that exist in people. “I believe that goodness—meaning truth, tolerance and compassion—should be in every person,” he said.
He also said that the persecution against Falun Dafa should be stopped. “It’s inhumane, every person has the right to life, every person has the right to believe in what they really want to do and it’s just... the persecution is not okay at all,” he said.
Bogdan addressed a message of encouragement in English to practitioners in China facing persecution: “Remain steadfast and you’ll be fine.”

A family from Mehedinți, parents with two children, Teodora and Emil, came to the stand in Constanța on August 11. Teodora was interested in the Falun Dafa exercises. She asked practitioners about them.
A practitioner gave them each a lotus flower with the principles inscribed on it and told the children what they meant using examples in daily life. Their mother said these principles are very good, and Teodora added, “They are very good and very beautiful!”
