Clarifying the Facts to Contractors Who Renovated My House

(Minghui.org) My family bought a second house last April, and we started renovations in June. During that time, we spent a lot of time interacting with people who had predestined relationships with Falun Dafa. Whoever came to our home, my husband, also a practitioner, and I worked together to clarify the facts to them. A few dozen of these people even quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its youth organizations.

Approaching Those Who did the Backfilling

The new house needed underfloor heating to be installed. When it came to backfilling, which involved filling the area around the pipes with cement, two contractors came to help. When my husband talked to them about the evil nature of the CCP, they strongly agreed. However, they didn’t think much of Falun Dafa either.

When my husband mentioned this, I was very surprised. I knelt down in front of Master’s portrait and asked for his help to save them. I then headed out to the renovation site with two sets of informational materials.

Upon arrival, I saw two men, covered in mud and cement, mixing concrete and sweating profusely. A feeling of compassion welled up within me. I said, “Hi there! You’ve worked so hard! I’ve come to see you. If it was not for this renovation project, how could we meet each other?” Through our chat, I learned we were from the same hometown, which immediately brought us closer.

I continued, “For you to come here makes us a family. With so many disasters happening now, safety is the most important thing. I used to curse Falun Buddha Law and burn Dafa books. I also believed what was said on TV about practitioners committing suicide by setting fire to themselves.

“I later developed all kinds of illnesses, such as stomach problems, hepatitis B, hepatic hemangioma, gallstones, and arthritis. All my children were raised by their grandmother, as we had no one else to turn to. During the peak of the SARS outbreak in 2003, I went to the Harbin Cancer Hospital for treatment. My husband’s uncle was a very authoritative attending physician, but even he couldn’t cure my illnesses. I then found answers by practicing Falun Dafa. It was Dafa that healed my illnesses and gave me a new life. Master is truly compassionate! I’m now in good health and looking after my two grandchildren. Please do not be deceived by the CCP’s lies.

“Falun Dafa is a Buddha Law cultivation practice. It teaches people to be truly good by following Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. In Lecture Seven of Zhuan Falun, it mentions the issue of killing. Killing is committing a sin. Why did Jiang Zemin (the former CCP leader) order the burning of Dafa books? It’s because he was afraid of people finding out the truth. He also orchestrated the fake self-immolation incident on Tiananmen Square.”

I then briefly recounted the CCP’s history of killing and told them the significance of quitting the Party: “Please hurry up and quit. If you do it sincerely, your fate will change for the better. Let me give each of you a nice pseudonym to help you quit?”

One of them said, “Sure, I’ll quit. Thank you!”

I told them I had prepared a gift bag for each of them, which included the app for breaking through the Internet blockade, Master’s two articles “How Humankind Came To Be,” and “Why This World Is a Realm of Unknowing,” and some other materials.

After I returned home, I was a little worried that they might leave without taking the materials with them. So I brought them two more bottles of water. They were already at the door ready to leave. I noticed they had taken the materials and placed them on the ground outside the door.

When they came out to change their shoes, I said, “I brought you two bottles of water.” I then put the two sets of materials and the bottles of water together into a large paper bag. One of them said, “We have water in our car, thank you! I also have a bag. I’ll put them [the materials] in the bag.” It seemed that they cherished the materials.

Clarifying the Facts to a Mason

When my husband told me a mason was there to lay the floor and wall tiles, I said I’d go clarify the facts to him. My husband said the mason was in his 30s and single. I then had the thought that it’s harder to talk to a younger man, but I immediately negated this notion.

I prepared a packet of informational materials, pressed my palms together in front of my chest (heshi) while looking at Master’s portrait and said, “Master, please save this young man! Please help strengthen your disciple’s righteous thoughts by eliminating any biased notion of ‘If I don’t practice well enough, I can’t tell people about something good.’”

When I arrived at the house, I saw a thin, dark-skinned man. Immediately, I felt pity for him, “Thank you, young man! You’ve worked hard!” I began to send forth righteous thoughts to eliminate any factors that would prevent him from being saved.

I found out he was 34, then asked if he was married. He gave me a wry smile and said, “I lied to your husband about being single.”

I then joked, “I was just about to introduce someone to you.” He laughed, then I continued, “It’s our predestined relationship that brought you over here. How could we have met otherwise, right? You’re young, with a bright future ahead of you. Our meeting will bring you blessings. Good money isn’t easy to make, and your talent is truly remarkable. There are so many calamities nowadays. Over 400 million people died in the three years of the COVID pandemic.”

He was caught off guard, “How can it be so many?”

I replied, “Let’s do the math. Three years is how many days? How many cities, counties, and towns are there nationwide? Divide 400 million by three years, divide that by how many towns and villages there are nationwide, so as to calculate how many people died every day in each town. This is before we start counting villages. The government’s internal records show the national population is now less than one billion.

“You’re aware of how many people died in the villages and towns, right?” He agreed, saying that the CCP treats ordinary people’s lives with the utmost indifference, and they never report the truth.

I told him, “They persecute Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, defame Falun Dafa practitioners, and make up lies that they commit suicide by burning themselves. This is what the CCP has done! Calamities are a warning! If humans don’t address this, Heaven will. It’s going to eliminate the CCP. Let’s make a safe choice and quit the Party. Have you joined the Communist Youth League before?”

He said he didn’t finish middle school and didn’t join it. “Have you worn the Red Pioneers' red scarf?” He confirmed he did. “Then how about if I give you a pseudonym to help you quit the Young Pioneers?” He agreed.

I also told him to remember the auspicious phrases, “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good!”

I gave him an amulet and an app to break through the Internet blockade. He seemed quite pleased and put them in his pocket. I then gave him two flyers and asked him to treasure them. Seeing how receptive he was, I gave him an amulet to give to his parents.

My family made dumplings the next day, and my husband took some over to him. I then made him pancakes on the third day, which he took home. He said, “My family said they were delicious.” When I made him some more, he told me his family was very touched.

On the mason’s last day, his wife and son came. My husband ran home to tell me. He grabbed two bottles of water, then we went to clarify the facts to them. My husband mainly sent righteous thoughts for me.

When I arrived, I asked the man’s wife, “How old are you? You look so young and beautiful.” She said she was the same age as her husband. I remarked, “Then you and my daughter are the same age.” She was very surprised, as she thought I was only in my 40s.

I took the opportunity to tell them about Falun Dafa. They understood and quit the CCP. I also gave her amulets to give to her family. She replied, “My husband told me both of you are so kind!”
