(Minghui.org) I was fortunate to encounter Falun Dafa in a park in our city in 1997. I had divorced my husband before I began practicing, and my family was broken.

Once I became a cultivator, I gradually improved my character through Fa study and cultivating following the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance, which transformed me. My husband and I remarried, and he also began practicing Falun Dafa. Our family became harmonious, and our broken home was transformed into a complete one.

Back then, the Falun Dafa exercise music could be heard all across China. When one person obtained the Fa, they would often lead many others to it, because Falun Dafa brings about profound changes in a person’s mind and body.

Every Dafa practitioner actively promoted and validated the Fa as part of their cultivation. Starting by striving to be good people and elevating themselves step by step, we all truly reaped immense benefits. The extraordinary power of Dafa manifested frequently in my own family. The following story is one example.

My daughter suddenly fell ill one afternoon in December 2007. My family took her to the local hospital for treatment, which was the start of a whirlwind of events that left us completely stunned and terrified. Within two days, we visited three different hospitals.

The doctors at a city hospital diagnosed her with a uterine tumor and said she needed surgery, with an upfront payment of 80,000 yuan. Where could a rural family like ours possibly find that much money? In the countryside, that is an astronomical sum. My daughter was only 21 years old—what would happen if she had her uterus removed?

We didn’t know what to do, so my husband knelt before Master’s portrait, weeping bitterly as he pleaded with Master to save our daughter. The next day, Master sent an elderly practitioner to visit us—a man in his seventies.

The practitioner didn’t know that Master had sent him to help my daughter, but my husband knew that Master had arranged it. When the practitioner arrived at our home, my husband explained our daughter’s situation. The man didn’t stay long, before heading home.

It was snowing heavily at the time, and the snow on the highway was too deep to drive fast. Halfway home, he heard a voice saying, “You’re standing by and doing nothing to help!” Immediately, he enlightened to what was going on, turned around, and returned to our house. He asked my husband, “Which hospital is your daughter in?”

The practitioner went to the hospital and saw my daughter. He said, “You are so young, yet your condition is critical. Your family is facing financial hardship and can’t raise the money—what is to be done? You should believe in Dafa—only Master can save you. I came here because Master sent me.” My daughter replied in a faint voice, “Alright, I will believe in Master and the Fa.” With this firm resolve, she was discharged and returned home.

My daughter lay in bed listening while we read the Fa. Three days later, a miracle occurred. While she was urinating, more than ten lumps of purplish flesh suddenly dropped into the bedpan. We were astonished—we realized that Master had removed the source of my daughter’s illness! We are deeply grateful to Master for saving her life.

My daughter completely recovered within 10 days. She didn’t take any pills or injections, and all her symptoms disappeared.

My daughter now has a son and a daughter, both of whom believe in Dafa and often recite “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.” I tell the children, “Master saved your mother, and that’s why you two were born.” Thank you, Master!

Our entire family—including my son, daughter-in-law, and their son—have personally witnessed the extraordinary power of Master and Dafa. Words cannot describe Master’s immense compassion and mercy in saving us and bestowing such grace upon our family. We bow in reverence to Master and offer our deepest gratitude to Dafa!
