People in Cape Town, South Africa, Praise Falun Gong

(Minghui.org) Falun Gong practitioners held introductory activities in the Green Point Park in Cape Town, South Africa, on August 1, 2026. Many people were attracted to the soothing music as the practitioners did the Falun Gong exercises. People learned about the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) persecution that has persisted for the past 27 years, and expressed their support for Falun Gong.

Skye,a practitioner, said that they contacted representatives and government officials and encouraged them to call for justice.

Danielle, another practitioner who has worked in a law firm for years, said that many people in South Africa paid close attention to the persecution.

Kevin, who also practices, said that even though everyone is busy with their lives and work, they persistently clarified the facts about the persecution of Falun Gong to people from all walks of life, including government officials.

Local residents Tom and Issac stopped to talk with practitioners and said, “We completely support you! Keep up with your great job!”

Two friends, Jenny and Rehanah, praised the Falun Gong exercises. The both said they hope the persecution in China ends soon!

The park’s security guard invited practitioners to take a group picture. They all exclaimed, “Stop the persecution of Falun Dafa!”
