(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 10 cities or counties in 7 provinces, where at least 21 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

1. [Mudanjiang City, Heilongjiang Province] Over 30 Practitioners Arrested

More than 30 practitioners were arrested on July 20, 2026. The arrests began at 7 a.m. and were carried out by officers from the Yangming, Qianjin, Tielinghe, Jingfu, and Huanghua Police Stations. Many practitioners were beaten during the arrests.

Mr. Gong Chengge, a former teacher, had his mobile phone, tablet, computer, and printer confiscated. Mr. Li Haifeng was placed under a 10-day administrative detention. Ms. Zhang Shumin was given 15 days of administrative detention. Ms. Gao Xiuqing, Mr. Yu Bo, Mr. Liu Zhiyuan, and Mr. Zhao Bailiang were released. The situations of the other practitioners is unclear.

2. [Yilong County, Sichuan Province] Ms. Zhang Xiuzhen Facing Trial

Ms. Zhang Xiuzhen was scheduled to attend her second hearing in the Jialing District Court on July 27, 2026.

3. [Wei County, Hebei Province] Mr. Jia Zhongwei Detained

Mr. Jia Zhongwei was arrested right after leaving home for work on the morning of July 21, 2026. The police ransacked his home and confiscated all the Falun Gong books, a laptop, a tablet, a printer, and two cell phones. He was taken to the Wei County Detention Center the following morning.

Mr. Jia’s wife has had surgery on both legs and now has difficulty walking. His 90-year-old mother is incapacitated, and his 90-year-old mother-in-law is seriously ill. All three are left in a dire situation with Mr. Jia’s detention.

4. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Qiao Xinghua and Yin Yuhua Detained

Qiao Xinghua and Yin Yuhua were arrested by Gongrencun Police Station officers in June 2026. They have been detained in the Shenyang City Detention Center since.

5. [Zhucheng City, Shandong Province] Ms. Zhang Shouxiang Facing Trial

Ms. Zhang Shouxiang was indicted and is facing trial by the Zhucheng City Court.

6. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Hou Jinhua Missing

Ms. Hou Jinhua, 67, went missing on July 20, 2026. Her home was ransacked, and her Falun Gong books and the photo of Falun Gong’s founder were confiscated.

7. [Changde City, Hunan Province] Ms. Li Detained

Ms. Li, in her 70s, first name unknown, was arrested in June 2026 for talking to people about Falun Gong.

8. [Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province] Ms. Fu Liping Detained

Ms. Fu Liping was arrested by Beiyuan Police Station officers on July 17, 2026, for talking to people about Falun Gong. She was given 14 days of administrative detention at the Shijiazhuang City Lockup.

9. [Meizhou City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Zhong Suyun Harassed

Three officers from the Jiangnan Police Station, led by the director of the Xinzhong Neighborhood Committee, went to Ms. Zhong Suyun’s home on July 22, 2026. Ms. Zhong was not home. Her family stopped them from videotaping their home. The police ordered them to tell Ms. Zhong that she wasn’t allowed to go out [to talk to people about Falun Gong].

10. [Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province] Ms. Deng Meijuan and Ms. Yang Suzhen Harassed

Three officers from the Nanying Town Police Station harassed Ms. Yang Suzhen and Ms. Deng Meijuan in their homes in April 2026. They took photos of the practitioners.

11. [Shanghai] Ms. Cao Weiling Harassed

Ms. Cao Weiling was followed by a plainclothes officer while shopping at a market near her home on July 16, 2026. The officer stopped her and forced her to return home. The next day, officers from the Meiyuan Police Station went to her house to check if she was home.
