(Minghui.org) Practitioners held an event on Place du Corbeau in Strasbourg, France, on September 5, 2026, where they demonstrated the Falun Dafa exercises and raised awareness of the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) persecution. Many people who were interested in learning about Falun Dafa also signed the petition that calls for an end to the persecution.
Strasbourg, the largest city in eastern France and the seat of the European Parliament, is bordered by Germany. This historic city boasts a rich architectural heritage that blends French and German cultural styles, and attracts visitors from around the world. Place Corbeau is located in the city center.

Learning About Falun Gong and the Persecution
A young French man who is a biologist at a German university, talked with a practitioner for nearly half an hour.
The practitioner told him about the CCP’s decades of human rights violations, including how people were killed during the Cultural Revolution and the Tiananmen Square massacre, and how the CCP targets Falun Dafa practitioners for state-sanctioned forced organ harvesting. He listened attentively and asked many questions.
A local resident was interested in learning more about Falun Dafa. After a practitioner told him about the persecution and the forced organ harvesting, he signed the petition calling for an end to the human rights abuses.
He said he liked Asian culture and asked to take a photo with the practitioner before he left.
Three German women paused to watch the exercise demonstration. They also read the display boards and asked about why Falun Dafa is being persecuted. They listened to a practitioner’s explanation and signed the petition.
Chinese Woman Withdraws From the CCP
Ms. Zhou from China has worked in France for nearly three years; she stood in front of the displays and read them for a long time. She said she was misled by the CCP’s propaganda and felt that practitioners were kind.
A practitioner told her that Falun Dafa teaches people to be good by following the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance. The CCP framed Falun Gong with the staged Tiananmen Square self-immolation. It imprisons and tortures practitioners, and even conducts forced organ harvesting.
Ms. Zhou said she was appalled by these atrocities and wished the CCP would soon collapse. When the practitioner advised her to quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations she joined, she agreed.
She took a brochure and a copy of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party, and said she would ask her family and friends to read them.
