(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 8 cities or counties in 5 provinces, where at least 11 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

4. [Guilin City, Guangxi Province] Mr. Dai Liqiang and Ms. He Dangling Arrested
5. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Sun Yi Detained
6. [Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Zheng Lijuan’s Husband Under Surveillance
7. [Qinglong County, Hebei Province] Ms. Yan Chunxiang and Ms. Cui Fengying Released
8. [Luannan County, Hebei Province] Mr. Jiang Shunbao Released from Prison

1. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Mr. Yang Dongxiang and His Wife Ms. Zhou Hongda Facing Trial

Mr. Zhou Hongda and his wife, Ms. Yang Dongxiang, are scheduled to stand trial in the Wuchang District Court on August 28, 2026.

2. [Chaoyang City, Liaoning Province] Liu Wenhua Put on Trial

Liu Wenhua, gender unknown, was arrested on March 19, 2026, and has been detained in the Chaoyang City Detention Center. Liu was tried in the Shuangta District Court on July 27, 2026.

3. [Qinhuangdao City, Hebei Province] Ms. Zhang Cuiying Arrested

Ms. Zhang Cuiying was arrested at home on July 11, 2026, by five officers from the Beibu Police Station and the Beihuan Road Police Station for distributing informational materials about Falun Gong. Her home was ransacked and her Falun Gong books were confiscated. She was taken to the police station for interrogation. She didn’t cooperate and was released later that day.

The police returned to Ms. Zhang’s home on August 20, 2026. She was not in. The police told her children that they weren’t done with her case yet.

4. [Guilin City, Guangxi Province] Mr. Dai Liqiang and Ms. He Dangling Arrested

Mr. Dai Liqiang and Ms. He Dangling from Qiandongnan Miao and Dong Autonomous Prefecture, Guizhou Province, were forced to live away from home to avoid being persecuted. They were arrested in Guilin City, Guangxi Province, on May 29, 2026.

Ms. He was released on bail after one month of detention and forced to go back to her hometown. The police have called her landlord several times for her information.

Mr. Dai remains detained in Guangxi Province.

5. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Sun Yi Detained

Mr. Sun Yi, son of Ms. Liu Xiaoxia, was arrested for writing a letter to the Shahekou District Domestic Security Division to seek his mother’s release. He is being held in the Dalian City Lockup.

6. [Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Zheng Lijuan’s Husband Under Surveillance

Ms. Zheng Lijuan was arrested on July 8, 2026, and has been detained ever since. Her father was devastated by her arrest and fell ill. Her husband has been placed under residential surveillance. His ID was confiscated, and his personal and work cell phones were confiscated.

7. [Qinglong County, Hebei Province] Ms. Yan Chunxiang and Ms. Cui Fengying Released

Ms. Yan Chunxiang and Ms. Cui Fengying were released recently from the Qinglong County Detention Center.

8. [Luannan County, Hebei Province] Mr. Jiang Shunbao Released from Prison

Mr. Jiang Shunbao was sentenced to one and a half years in prison. He was released from the Jidong Prison on July 25, 2026.
