1. [Xingtai City, Hebei Province] Ms. Xie Dehua Arrested

Ms. Xie Dehua was arrested at home around midnight on August 23, 2026, by Xingtai Development Zone Police Station officers. An officer had called her with a false claim that her car had been scratched. Once he confirmed that she was home, the police arrived and arrested her.

2. [Beizhen City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Li Xuehua Arrested

Ms. Li Xuehua, in her 70s, was arrested on August 19, 2026, by over 10 officers from the Goubangzi Police Station. Her home was ransacked.

3. [Linyi City, Shandong Province] Ms. Cheng Yu Detained

Ms. Cheng Yu, 43, was arrested on July 28, 2026, when she was distributing Falun Gong flyers. She was first held at the Luozhuang District Lookup for six days and then transferred to the Hedong District Detention Center.

4. [Dingxi City, Gansu Province] Ms. Li Lingxiang Detained

Ms. Li Lingxiang of Xi’an City, Shaanxi Province, went to Longxi County, Dingxi City, to look after her father. She was under police surveillance after someone reported her for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong.

Officers from both the Longxi County Police Department and Wenfeng Police Station, as well as community clerks, arrested her on July 24, 2026. They confiscated her computers, printers, printing consumables, and other items. She was given 15 days of administrative detention and then released on bail. She has returned to Xi’an.

5. [Deyang City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Rui Lianying Arrested

Ms. Rui Lianying, 64, was arrested on July 17, 2026. The police ransacked her home and seized a picture of the founder of Falun Gong, Falun Gong books, computers, and printers. She was released that night.

6. [Dandong City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Wei Liming Appealed

Ms. Wei Liming, 65, was arrested on January 23, 2026, by seven plainclothes officers from the Zhenxing Police Department. She has since been held at the Dandong City Detention Center. She was sentenced to 22 months in prison and fined 3,000 yuan by the Zhen’an District Court on June 28, 2026. She appealed with the Dandong City Intermediate Court on July 9, 2026.

7. [Shaoyang City, Hunan Province] Ms. Liu Aihua Released from Prison

Ms. Liu Aihua was released on July 6, 2026, after serving a four-year prison term.

8. [Handan City, Hebei Province] Ms. Dan Xiu’e Arrested

Ms. Dan Xiu’e, 72, was arrested in July 2026 by the Hanshan District Domestic Security Division officers for putting up Falun Gong flyers. She was taken to the Handan City Detention Center, but she denied admission because of her health. She was released on bail.

9. [Tancheng City, Shandong Province] Mr. Wen Dehuai Missing

Mr. Wen Dehui has been missing since June 13, 2026.
