On September 4, 2000, the one-day New York Falun Dafa Experience Sharing Conference was held successfully in the Marriott Hotel at the World Trade Center in Manhattan. "Validate the Fa with reason, clarify the truth with wisdom" was the theme of this conference. More than 1,500 Chinese and western Falun Dafa practitioners from North American, Asian-Pacific and European countries attended the conference.

(Central News Agency, Hong Kong) About 100 Dafa practitioners from Hong Kong and Macao held a parade yesterday to appeal in front of the Chinese Government Liaison Office in Hong Kong. They indicated that 50 Falun Dafa practitioners had already died in custody since last year. They called on the Chinese Government to stop the persecution towards Dafa practitioners.
