I have been thinking about how to validate and protect Dafa (Great Law) using more effective and influential means. After the publication of the articles The Knowing Heart and Towards Consummation by Mr. Li Hongzhi, I came to realize that we could validate Dafa through the most righteous means in human society by publicizing true situations of Dafa cultivation.
Among all the evil tests, the most common persecution that Falun Dafa practitioners face is under the name of "law," taken and used by those vile human beings in order to suppress our practitioners. The truth is that all of their doings are illegal. Therefore, my personal opinion is that we could take legal actions such as lawsuits, not only to protest the illegal detention of practitioners and openly protect our rights to cultivate Dafa, but also to reveal the vicious deeds of those vile human beings and their evilness to the world. I think that the process of hiring lawyers to defend the arrested practitioners, as well as to initiate lawsuits against illegal detention of practitioners, is also using laws in human society to rectify the wrongful persecution against the practitioners carried out by wicked people. This can also spread the Fa (the Law) and clarify the truth.
After reading the two latest articles Rationality and Eliminate Your Last Attachment(s) by the Teacher as well as the article from the Minghui Net editors, I am more certain about my thoughts mentioned above. (Before, I had attachments regarding the ways to protect the Fa and was concerned if this was satisfying the criteria of Dafa.) I also discussed this thought with a few practitioners and found that some of them disagreed for various reasons. After some serious debate, as well as consideration of different opinions from others (some practitioners disagreed primarily because they did not think that this was an effective method), I wrote down some of my own understandings to share with fellow practitioners.
(1) I personally think that regardless whether this method is effective or not in helping detained practitioners, we should consider it from an angle of protecting and validating the Fa. I believe that the temporary vicious activities are mainly due to three reasons: ordinary people are not aware of the truth, some factors from ourselves, and there might be some influences from strongly distorted mentalities. "Politics" and "law" are two words that have very powerful meanings to everyday people, which could be obstacles preventing many others from getting to know or understand Dafa. In my experiences, I noticed that many people would not listen to or try to understand the truth of our cultivation just because the vile beings are persecuting Dafa and our practitioners under the name of so called "politics" and "law." However, as soon as they are helped to realize that wicked politicians are breaking the law and understand all the disguises, lies, brutality, and evilness hidden underneath the words "politics" and "law," people of good will can easily understand Dafa. I realize the fact that the vile beings are going against cosmic justice and are taking advantage of the "law" to mistreat practitioners, this is indeed in disregard of the true meaning of "law" in human society. If one could openly validate Dafa through normal legalities, it could help the kind-hearted people to overcome the obstacles of distorted mentalities and come to realize that it is wrong for those vile beings to detain and hurt our practitioners. This would clarify the truth to the world from a broader and more influential prospective. In addition, it is to correct the crooked with the most righteous way, restore the true meaning of the human law and achieve perfect harmony of Dafa at the human level.
(2) In addition, if we consider this from the angle of helping fellow practitioners in jail, despite whether a direct impact is generated, it can at least help by supporting their friends and families. At the same time, it is a good opportunity to spread the Fa and clarify the truth to them. I personally believe that the causes for many practitioners to receive frequent detention and have long-term tribulations might not only come from their own karma, but also many of them have to completely overcome the obstacles in both their mentality and action. (I do not mean the form of safeguarding the Fa, or an understanding of a form of action; I mean the attachments towards oneself and one~{!/~}s own understandings). The fellow practitioners who cultivate Dafa firmly in tribulations are extremely admirable and touch our hearts. How could we as practitioners, who are not being detained not help in validating Dafa, and allow fellow practitioners to suffer so much for so long in jail? The above two points are some of my personal understandings. The purpose of this article is not only to share experiences with fellow practitioners, but I also hope that we could all overcome both internal and external obstacles.
